Do you guys think we'll be able to go invisible again? Guys like Smoke and Reptile used to pull this one out on the old school games. It would fit in well with the online play. They could make the fighter invisible on the other fighters screen and keep them visible on their own screen.

That would be cool, but have characters like sektor to have heat-sensing that would enable them to see your heat signatures.

Invisibility could be done...if they did it right, but it would be extremely broken with MKDA/MKD's fighting engine.

And having your character visible on your screen and invisible on your opponents screen is bullshit...

Konqrr is right.

Altough invisibility was a cool move i think in the present games that would be out of context (read playability).

the idea of the robots having heat sensing and then having a character go invincible is kinda interesting in terms of stragedy, but a few things. Isn't Smoke in robo form really not warm blooded? Isn't Reptile also?

If Invisibility were to be done, I'd have it be kinda like the transparency from the movie, where you can kinda make him out. Yet I would make a tit for tat scenario. Go invisible, okay, but get hit while your invincible, take a lot of damage (it can be played off as the character is putting a lot of energy to turn invincible).

Invisibility was a cool concept but I always found it pretty useless. It would look good though if they did what Sarius said and had him look like THE PREDATOR of Invisible Snake in Metal Gear Solid - so you can still kinda see them.

I think you guys are missing the point. Whats the point of being invisible if the other person knows where you are? It would be awesome though if the dust on the ground would help give away where the person is though so that you'd have to pay very close attention to it.

Also why is it bullshit for your character to be invisible on your opponenet's screen and not invisible on your screen?

I suppose it could be a fighting stance where you take on more damage but personally I prefer the old school style where you go back to normal as soon as you're hit.

hes right its like the cinder invisibility it was totaly useless cuz the oponent knows where u was by looking at the shadow.

even i would like a character (maybe secret) is invisible all the time and when he attacks or gets hitted appears a lil (like the predator)
