AFTER BEING ONE OF KAHNS GREATEST FIGHTERS AND GENERALS HE WAS IN THE PERFECT POSSITION, BUT AFTER LEARNING OF KAHNS TRUE INTENTIONS TO KILL ALL RACES INCLUDING HIS OWN AND ANYTHING ELSE, AFTER KAHNS ASKED FOR HJIS SOUL AS A SIGN OF allegiance he ran . he was hunted for years until kahn was finally done for. after finally finding his races new home he finds that that nitaro and her still unprisoned accomplises ravaged his town for him turning the orb that improsoned her realm to shao kahn. he was enraged and dedicated his liofe to exterminated vampires. after learning of nitaro was the only living vampire currently he seeke to destroy her. he guarded the orb with his life which she seeked but was one day ambushed by a cyborg, he faught well but eventually he was outsmarted and cyrax hurt him badly. cyrax then returned the orb to nitaro and the realm was free. now ares has once again made it his life to slay vampires of all kind and has chose to enter the turnament to defeat the dragon king and use his army to defeat the vampires and keep piece.
