It's not just you my friend. When we first got a look at the DK I said the very same thing. I've grown to get over it now, and think he looks quite badass.

He does look like ogre but better

well anyway, no he doesn't look like ogre to me, or true ogre. he looks more like a villian from a saturday morning cartoon show or something. It's almost like he belongs on teenage mutant ninja turtles. The whole storyline is alot like a saturday morning tv show too, just a little more mature.

oh well, either way he looks badass, and could beat shredder's ass anyday.

Thats the very first thing I tought when I saw him, looks like a sick rip-off of True Ogre, but eh, he looks like a cool boss.

True looks just like him, but True Ogre has a snake for an arm which makes him look cooler

I said the same thing when I first saw him. He also looks a bit like Unicron from the Transformers movie.

Daemos, Alpha, those were my first 2 thoughts when i saw him...Along with "average".

Wow, surprized someone else feels that way, cause I was thinking the exact same thing... I donno if its the way the plot has been going, and with the dying and bringing back or what it is, but it does remind me of a cartoon... And the weird part is, TMNT is the cartoon I was thinking of too.

But Ogre = Gay and Onaga = PWNS Tekken

I don't think he looks that much like True Ogre. They have similar traits yes, but are different in many ways.

True Ogre has a snake arm, lion like/beast head, his legs and mid section are more deformed.

Onaga/DK has normal arms for except for his hands, has a normal but buff mid section and has a reptile/human hybrid face.

Only thing similar is they both have wings, those screwed up legs(but Onaga's are a big different) and they are a green.

I as well thought that he looked like the Tekken Ogre. Remember though Mortal Kombat is darker then Tekken will ever hope to be

Never been a fan of Tekken so i don't know what Ogre looks like. I'm impressed with the DK's look i mean its not ground breaking but he looks quite sick. Beats the hell out of two already playable characters as the boss, imo hes way better then Shoa Kahn in terms of apperance. When i'm playing a fighting game and i get to the last boss i wanna be intimidated Old ass Shang Stung, Shoa Kahn, Shinnok, they were all out done by the Sub-Bosses. Goro, Kintaro, Motaro were all more intimidating then their masters. I could be proved wrong but i think this will be the first MK game where the Boss is more of a Badass then the sub-boss but i'll have to hold off judgement until i see the new sub-boss.
