don't listen to these people, apparently MKO is full of nothing but johnny cage haters when he is one of the best ever. the reason he is so cool is because he is so average. with him leaving, sonya, jax gone, we have nothing but non-mortal warriors. isn't the game titled Mortal Kombat, and do half of you even know what a MORTAL is?

Anyway, I hope he is back, I really do. If you want to talk about a horrible character, talk Mavado.

Also, I agree I think that is johnny cage. It looks exactly like him, has the same fighting style, and who's to say that's not johnny cage under a different persona? If it isn't him, and that IS ben, i think he is related to johnny in some way. who else to look like ken from street fighter than johnny cage? i always saw a resemblance.

so stop bashing cage haters, he is awesome. we DO need some MORTALS in a game entitled mortal kombat. not to mention the spine rip and brain pull are 2 of the best fatals ever so lay off :)
I'd really like to know how so many of you are sure that's ben, anyway. Looks like cage to me.

I love Johnny Cage. I think he's a great characters with great moves and a great story line. But bottom line is the "Orignal" list I think is full, the only un-confirmed characters left are a bunch of newbies. Sorry if I'm wrong about that, but I could be wrong. But a lot of the old characters have been confirmed and not a lot of Earth warriors are in the game, only a select few, and sadly enough, I don't think Cage is in this one.

yeah,why not bring back Johnny????.i know his storyline is a little choppy,but he's a classic character and he deserves a new chance,he has cool fatalities,the decapitation,torso rip and brain ripper ....they're awesome.

The hair is longer, and he's definately fighting in karate style....he's definately Cage re-done, but I think he's a new character. I imagine they changed his model/styles around a touch and called the result a new character. ...and I'm a HUGE Johnny Cage fan. Hey, I hope he's back, because I think this roster sucks so far. In fact, the ONLY people I know of that are happy about it are on these forums, but what are ya gonna do?

I know you got hopeful seeing that pic, but I really doubt it's him. Sadly, that's what I think.

I see long blonde hair and a white vest-like shirt. Other than the fact that he's built the same way, I don't see much of a resemblance.

It's got to be the new character Ben; the hair gives it away (he couldn't grow hair that fast since the game happens right after MKDA). The game does need some more mortals but I'd rather see Sonya or Kung Lao!

Johnny Cage should never return. He is a lame ass. he has outlived his ressurection. Raiden must have been really desperate if he resurrected him!!
Johnny Cage should have stayed dead, and shouidn't return. I also believe the character in the trailer is Ben.
