is mk vs dc a sequel to shaolin monks

ok ive got 4 reasons to belive it is
1. raiden is not evil
2.lui kang is not dead
3.the comic depicts shoa kahn being beaten by raiden using an electric attack
4.the costumes are very remincent of mk2

This game is definitely not a sequel to SM.
If it were, Boon and the MK team have said so.
Plus, this game is not canon and has nothing
to do with the present Mk plot that left off in MKA

Yeah, I get why you would think that.

Even Boon said, AS AN EXAMPLE, that the game could be taking place after or in between the events of MK3, and that's what it looks like with the new bios that have been revealed.

No, it's mostly around Mortal Kombat 3, it's been said hundreds of times around here. It's nowhere near Shaolin Monks.

Look at the costumes. And since was raiden in MK 3. The costumes don't really look like any recent ones, come on! How the hell is it supposed to take place between MK2 and MK3? Why don't you tell me that?
