We've seen three special moves of his:

#1. Spear (Of Course)
#2. Teleport Kick
#3. Summon Hellfire

While all of those moves are awesome, I think that the backflip kick is essential to his move set.

He did the backflip in one of the video when he was fighting NightWolf.

He's right though dude, it's supposed to be a close range move and you most likely don't know how to use it.

I on the other hand will hand people their asses on a platter with that move.

MKDA already had too many close range moves, and a special move should not be a close range move since close range moves r not supposed to be used for the purpose of inflicting damage.

I'm not TRYING to argue, I'm still pondering what the fuck you meant by that statement.

ALL moves from ALL ranges are meant to inflict damage.

How do you figure close range moves aren't?

close range attacks only allow u to use strong long range moves after, while they inflict very little damage. they help u catch your opponent off guard and make them more vulnerable to your next attack.

Geez, I've been a member since MKDA was just a pic of Scorpion and Jax looking at each other and I have less than 2,000 visits. I should really log in more...

I whoop the shit out of my friends using Scorpion's backflip kick. I'd throw his spear, reel em in, summon hellfire, and then backflip kick em. Sometimes I pull out the sword and bust a good combo out of it. It's a pretty good move if you ask me...if you know how to use it.wink

The backflip is a good move but for me it only seems to work on a free hit situation, like after doing the spear move. Atleast it looks cool! smile

It's effective if you use it right. Any move is. I'd like to see Scorpion's Air Throw return.
