When you think about it, is it really possible for Shujinko to ever return in a Mortal Kombat game after Deception? I mean, his moves are customized so every Shujinko will be different.

This is why I believe that Shujinko will die in his ending. And unlike most Mortal Kombat characters, stay that way.

Any thoughts?

I hope so. I was hoping Shujinko would be playable as a young boy, not as an old man. If he was a young boy, he'd be more interesting.

I like him (probably because he remings me of Pai Mei)
I hope he stays... he could become the teacher of the new champion (with raiden and Liu all messed up, and Kung Lao missing)

I wouldn't mind him staying alive in the universe, but I really think it'd be hard to have him playable in future games. I love his look.

They can bring him back because he learns all the fighting styles and you choose the 3 you want to use.
In the next game they can explain it as he perfers a certain 3.
I like that he's old it makes it believable that hes experienced.
