hey,im all for original characters but i just dont see any appeal in bo rai cho at all.theres only a couple of chracters in the entire mk universe i HATE and bo rai cho is one of them.I dont find him funny(stupid actually) and i have no desire to play as a fat,drunk guy or fight one(i could got to the pub and do that).ive gotta admit im kinda hoping he dies from liver failure before deception gets underway...

...anyways rant over,i feel better now!

Man, Bo'Rai Cho Sucks. Why do they even bother bringing him into this game? Oh well they might make him better in this game I hope.

I don't see why they brought him back,there are much better fighters then him.No Kung Lao,no Raiden,no Kano,no Sheeva.But we get to see Bo Rai Cho's fat belching and farting ass back.

Like cartmansp, I hated him at first, but later found him a lot of fun to play as. There are other characters I would have preferred to see return, but it's still cool that he's back.

I am not happy to see him again :.\. I think someone else from MK: DA should have gotten a chance to come back instead of him , but too bad I guess he is in and thats that.

Yeah hes cool, and long as he isn't broken like he was in MKDA. I would have liked to have seen Frost back instead though. They could of done some cool things with her.

I hope frost is sent to the darkest depths of the netherrealm. Cmon, do we really need another sub-zero? the first one kicks ass as it is.

I don't hate Bo Rai Cho, but like someone said, there are many far better characters more deserving of his MKD spot. Where's Kung Lao, one of MK's main heroes? Bo's stronger than he gets credit for, but I hope he loses the "humour" like the farting. That gets very tired after 30 seconds.

Go to my thread entitled "Logical Reasoning Behind Character Choices". If you're having trouble finding it, it's posted in Tgrant's "All In 1" thread. I have a pretty good inkling of why Bo' Rai Cho is back. Am I happy about him returning? No, because he reminds me too much of Brad Wong from DOA 3 only Brad Wong looked better. lol. He does have a purpose in Deception, apparently, so I'll give him a chance.

I'm not too happy about it. With the exception of Hsu Hao, I'd take any MKDA character over Bo' Rai Cho. Among the characters who were introduced in MKDA, I would personally really like to see Nitara and possibly Frost in MKD.

I think Bo' Rai Cho is by far the worst 'drunken master' character in a fighting game. His 'drunken fist' style is a joke, and I don't find a farting and puking Ron Jeremy-lookalike the slightest bit funny. If he'd have been a cranky old Chinese geezer I'd probably like him a lot better, but the way he actually is, I think he's a failed attempt at slapstick humour that has no place in MK. I like the idea of a 'mentor' character for Liu Kang and Kung Lao, but I think it was executed very badly.

OK, so he farted. For no reason. But at least it was unexpected, and funny at first. Come on, admit it.

He's got 2 great bare-fisted fighting styles, and a half-decent weapon style.

But plot-wise, he was great. I always wanted to know exactly who it was that trained Liu Kang, and here we go. They even gae us a reasonable explanation as to why he couldn't show up in the tournaments.

I hope no one just hates him because he's fat. That's a lousy reason( Sumos are great fighters too, you know).

MK has long needed a wizened-master character. Despite his problems, I think he fits the bill nicely.

I'll admit he needs a better set of special moves (although I liked the flip-flop), but he has a lot of potential. He could have a drunken staggering eveade move, or a fatality where, in a fit of 'drunken happiness', he walks up to you and gives you a great big bear-hug that breaks your bones and crushes the life from your body.

All I am saying, is give drinks a chance!

I still think he's just a comical aspect of the game, which this is not a comedy more like a horror genre video game; which with all the other characters in MKDA, to be a bloody gruesome so-called game I think it would be best to leave him out; his fatality was the most ignorant filled one I've ever seen; and the farting and puking wasn't funny at all (maybe the 1st time I played it) but it DOES get old! I'd rather see Sonya, Kung Lao, Nitara, Frost, Seerena, hell even lame ol Jax before seeing Bo Rai Cho with his drunken ass in this FIGHTING game. (leave that one for the ninjas people!!!)

Personally I am very disappointed that Bo is in this game. I mean come on we could have had character like Jade, Rain, Raiden, Kung Lao, etc. but I guess it's not really that bad. If they make him more serious with better specials thatn hey why not right....But I still would have loved to see Jade instead.
