Is that red ninja (hopefully Ermac) Kenshi?

A lot of people have speculated even when MKDA came out because Kenshi could do Ermac's old slam. Of course it explained why he could in Kenshi's Konquest, which mustly killed those. But the way the "Ermac" is holding his weapon, looks a lot like the way Kenshi did for one of his attacks.

I can't remember which move, because I didn't play with Kenshi much, but to me, it looks a lot like one of his attacks.

Here's what it says.

UPDATE: We have confirmed through an anonymous source within Midway that the red ninja is in fact Ermac! This should end speculation concerning the identity of at least one of the new fighters. Our thanks to our source for the heads-up!

i'm thinking it is Ermac, in one of the frames, i'm pretty sure there are green!! splotches of blood on the ground, now this is just my theory, but since Ermac is supposed to be made up of souls it could be that instead of blood souls fly out of him sort of. What do you think of that theory??

I have not looked at the trailer very closely, but if there was indeed green blood on the floor in any of the scenes, I would assume it belonged to Reptile.

Souls in MK are green in colour, maybe that could be what flies out of Ermac?

I think Ermac's story could be something to do with him training Kenshi, to watch Kenshi kill Tsung, take back his anncestor's souls, only to have Ermac jump in and consume them all, and kill Kenshi.

I think Ermac will kill Kenshi. Kenshi got blinded by a pit of souls. I think Ermac blinded him and then acted as one of his allies but is now going to kill him. I think a few people will die in the opening movie. I think Kenshi will be one of them.

What if that guy is one of the ninjas from MK:M? I never played MK:M but I remember seing a sketch of a guy in red with a black mask.
