Is this game gonna be online for X-Box (PSM hints at no)?

In the PSM mag, which I'm not gonna distribute, so the purple bunny won't get angry, but Boon does mention that the game is online, but it only says PS2.

Now it is the PSM mag, and I don't think they care to talk about the XBox, but my question is:
well its the subject.

I personally think it would be a major loss not to do so. I mean cube have already lost their version totally, why hurt another version? XBox Live is really the best console online multiplayer I have ever experienced (I have played PS2 online also, I'm not being biased) and why only cater to the PS2ers? I could undertand that the Cube 1.5 gigs might not be enough and the lack of online support, but there is no excuse with the X-Box.

This game is really looking good, and I might even buy a PS2 just for this game, but if I do, I'm not gonna get the HDTV I wanted. I would have to wait.

Dont be stupid, of course it will be. They said "It will be the first fighting online game for ps2" because x-box already has fighting games online.

The X-Box online capability was confirmed in a Midway Conference Call.

Also, the PSM doesn't says anything about it cause...it's a Play Station Magazine, duh.

That scared me, that would suck if it was not online for Xbox. I would be paying for nothing.

i wonder if somehow there will be inter console gaming, like a ps2 player vs an xbox player, it would be kinda kool but is it possible?

I'm not starting a war just stating the facts, loser.

Anyway, seriously is it not possible to pit Xbox owners vs PS2 owners? After all its all the same internet, right. It sounds like a fantastic idea if it could be worked out.
