It Looks Like The Run Button is Back!!
Its not as stiff as MKDA. They move so friggin fasT!! I think i saw Sindel or one of them dash foward really fast, and the run button is what i thought was missin from MKDA. Im lovin this, i really am. Anyone else notice the increase of of speed in the gameplay? any word if the run button is indeed back?

I wonder is it a button or just the foward double tap that other fighting games use.I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Nooo! :(
In what interview did they say they wont be having the run button back?? a magazine or something? :(
MKDA didnt have foward foward dash. I forgot what MK game did though. Its been years since i last played MK1-MK3. Is it a big difference?? (the run button and the foward dash)

Fuck that. If they put a run button in this game, I will not buy it hands down. The run button killed my MK fun factor. Please GOD no run button. I hope it was a dash forward on the controller instead.

I believe Boon once said he favored the MK3 kombat system because of the run button and the versatility it added with kombos or sumthing of that nature. So who knows?

It could be some kind of dash/bash/kick move that each character has. Different for each character. Maybe a double tap forward. One reason for this is so that your opponent can be thrown into the interactive elements like the windows or the meat grinder.

I imagine its a double dash forward like move by tapping the directional in the appropriate direction, all ver fighting games have had them and its about time MKD had it also.
Well watever it is, i like it. Theres definately a dash button and now that i think of it, theres no run button cuz i didnt see anyone running, but i did notice that they increased speed while fighting. Its lookin good!
Can ya tell me of a fighting game that has a foward foward dash in it?

What's so bad about the run button? If there is a run
button, nobody's gonna force you to use it! if you
don't want to!!

lol!! The run button wasn't THAT bad, dude, lol. Run jabs are REALLY good, lol. I've never liked associating movement to a button, it's just not natural, not logical. Didn't work for me in MK4 nor' VF3.
It's prolly just a double tap. The movement does seam to be a bit better, but from what I saw the SS was still shit. Unless that was simply 8-way doing it's thing. My hopes are not very high for the "Big D," but it is looking to be a bit more ballistic as far as gameplay goes, which is nice.
