Deadly Alliance Konquest mode - Reptile. It specifically states in the story given along the way in Konquest mode that he "found his master dead", and thus Reptile began to wander outworld, when he came across Nitara. What is it with people here denying the obvious. Kahn is dead, and before Deception finally came out we still had people claiming the the Dragon King wasn't Reptile. There's a lack of common sense around here and it's quite annoying.

so please dont post stuff before you at least try and look for it.

I don't have the special edition,but that most likely is true.I am one who doesn't want to believe it,but thinks Kahn is dead.But what does being dead mean in MK?Characters die every fight,every game,and are sometimes resurrected.
BUT if they don't resurrect him,I think they should have him escape hell.He is dead,but it does not mean he's done.

Sub-Zero (MK1), I guess we can officially say he came back as Noob (which means he was in UMK3 twice?)
Cage (MK3), I believe he was killed by Motaro? I remember seeing some sort of artwork like that
Sindel (pre MK1), resurected in MK3 intro
Liu Kang (MK5), Well I guess hes sort of resurected.. its not very clear what truly happens to him, if his body looks like a zombie or if hes totally normal.. but in any case he was killed and hes back in some sort of shape or form
Kano (pre MK4).. i believe its mentioned that Kano was killed in MK4, and Jarek was the last member... i'm not 100% sure, but I think thats how it went..

If you saw the opening FMV for Dealy Alliance, Shao Khan dies at the hands of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.

Well the creators did bring back Johnny Cage even though he "died" prior to the events of Mortal Kombat 3.

Kano does die after the invasion by was resurrected by Shao Khan. However he does die again in Deadly alliance (judging from the endings from Quan Chi and Mavado).
How did the original Sub-Zero come back as Noob Saibot? I mean wouldn't Noob have revealed to the current Sub-Zero of what happened to this bro.

Scorpion: murdered by elder Subby in Mythologies.
Elder Subby: Killed by Scorpion in MK1, became the wraith known as Noob Saibot.
Johnny Cage: Supposed to have been killed by Kahn's extermination squads just prior to MK3 (when he started his invasion), and was ressurrected twice between then and MK4 (once through a loophole created by the invasion, once by Raiden to allow him to help his friends defend against Shinnok), but I think it's been said by Vogel (though I have yet to see any evidence in-game to support it) that his death and ressurrection were just a plot device created by the producers he worked with for the 'Death of Johnny Cage' movie they were making.
Sindel: Committed suicide in defiance against Shao Kahn, was ressurrected on Earth to secure Kahn's invasion into Earthrealm.
Liu Kang: Killed by Shang Tsung and had soul stolen. Soul freed by Raiden when Shang was killed, body revived for evil by unknown assailants. Truly ressurrected when Raiden fused Liu's body and soul back together.
Kitana: Unknowingly killed during war with Kahn's forces, ressurrected by Onaga to serve as his bodyguard. Mileena took her place in her army's ranks as a deception to kill off any opposition to Onaga's reign.
Mileena: Killed by Kitana in MK2, revived by Shinnok in UMK3/MKT to serve him.
Onaga: Poisoned by Shao Kahn, was ressurrected in Reptile's body.

Motaro: Killed by Sheeva.
Mavado: Killed by Kabal shortly before Deception.
Hsu Hao: Killed by Jax after blowing up the OIA.

Kano: Thought dead by Sonya after he was thrown off skyscraper, in reality was repaired by Kahn and remained in Outworld. HIs fate unknown as of now.
Kabal: Thought killed by Mavado after MK3, was saved by Havik.
Kung Lao: Thought dead after MK3/UMK3/MKT, returned in MKGold.
