This official French website is stating the 50 available success titles that you can compete for in MK vs DC, which included the characters below:
MK Side:
- Baraka
- Shao Khan

DC Side:
- Lexluthor
- Darkseid
Unlockable Character:
- Dark Khan (this might be the merged boss Dark Seid+Shao Khan)

I'm fine with Baraka, Kahn and Darkseid. Not very happy about Lex Luthor, I think it's a terrible choice.

I am SO happy Baraka has made it in.

We all thought he would miss the cut due to the Teen Rating.

But, surely he is one of the bigger shocks of the roster! I just really hope they don't butcher him and take a lot away from him.

But if I see correctly, Darkseid and Shao Kahn are playable characters individually right?

So what would happen if you play as one of those in Story Mode and get the boss which is Dark Kahn?

Doesn't really work does it, seeing as they are supposedly fused together.

remember Boon has said in story mode that you'll start with a certain character and then eventually switch to another one then another, to find out everyone's journey. Choosing Shao Kahn to start with does not neccessarily mean you'll get to finish story mode with him. It's possible you'll just find out his part of the story and you'll very likely finish the game with someone else when he's already merged with Darkseid.

Yeah the link isn't working but I'm loving baraka being in this game. I don't like lex being in the game because he might have to wear that ugly suit he wears to fight superman.

Good question. The initials don't match any of the confirmed characters. There's speculation going on at the Worlds Collide forums that it could be for a secret character. I'm not sure myself, maybe it's Jimmy Palmiotti's who's in the game LOL.

whoa, i'm having a serious doubt. i can't think that they'd put baraka in over cage. i'm not upset just shockedwow

darkseid and shao kahn shouldn't be playablem, IMO they're the first two wasted character slots.

If this is true, I'm thrilled, because this is 100% who I'd wanted to see that was missing. (Wish there were room for 2 more, Goro and Martian Manhunter would be my next 2 choices!)

Thrilled about Baraka and Shao Kahn (and more proof that this T-rating is going to get smashed to pieces), but Lex Luthor over Martian Manhunter? Yes, I know he's Superman's arch nemesis, but as Samuel L. Jackson said in "Unbreakable", the villain is the complete opposite of the hero, and Lex Luthor is a piss-poor fighter. So, unless we see him in his ridiculous power suit or disguised as Kevin Spacey with a moutain of kryptonite, I just don't see him beating anybody up.... let alone Darkseid or Shao Kahn.

As much as I dislike Luthor in a fighting game, with his power suit he often uses in encounters with Superman, he'd be more than a match for any MK fighter.

Yes we did, because all his moves involved serious violence, as well as his baldes wouldn't be in because of the no weapons thing. He was brutal and all his fatalities involved severed limbs usually heads, which weren't gonna be in this game.




Anyway, roster sucks. My last two if Reptile wasn't in the game (still pissed he's not) would be Mileena(Reptile) and Nightwing not Baraka and Lex. Darkseid and Kahn should've been NPCs as sub bosses, thn like in Tekken 3, have a short mini cutscene showing them being fused.
