on the other hand

I've only seen smoke's tranparent with mask and ninja pants (the one of the pic fighting baraka)

can you describe me the other one on the videos, and could you post a pic with some vivid colours?

oh.. the reason y the pic looks like that is because, the video i got it from, was a video of some 1 w/ a camcorder recording a tv screen,just like mk online's video of gamers day.. hopefully soon gamespot or ign will have a perfect video..
then i can post a better picture..

I'm a smoke fan, and believe it or not, a Noob fan. I'm excited as hell. LOL

I like the idea of Noob-Smoke, but Smoke looks...ick. He looks really BAD for lack of a better word...

well....i'm not gonna say that i'm a fan of noob saibot and smoke becoming the mk tag team champs... bottom line....it's a lazy way of making sure both charactars could be in....i mean if they wanted to pull shit like this...they could've made a whole tag team mode....but hopefully they will end up being split...HOPEFULLY

back on topic.....honestly...i like smoke's new look....it's really the only direction they could've taken the charactar as the ninja and cyborg thing has been done to death over the years...smoke is FOR ONCE an original charactar.... that's why i was so psyched for his return...then they shove him with noob saibot( another of my favorites) like neither one could take care of themselves....i mean....mortal kombat is and always has been one on one...now just outta nowhere smoke and noob are tag teaming...rediculous

Not to sound mean, but Smoke is in no way a cyborg. His legs are cloth with armor guards on his knees. He has no chest plate whatsoever, only a black ninja vestment.

The only part of him that is remotely cyborg is his mask, which only slightly resembles his old cyber face. It's very suttle, and hardly even noticable.

I think noob smoke is either one of two things it is new idea that could be used for future games or they couldn't fit two seperate charters and made them into one. I'd prefer it if they were seperate, I think it looks a little unfinished and more could have gone into it but it is the way it is and it will still be a sweet game.

I'm guessing but "Noob Smoke" is more like a "gentle" way of taking out the "Saibot" part you know...

Absolutely Horrible?

In my opinion yes, but of course there is no *right* answer to a question that is purely subjective.

EDIT: I also don't like that they are not separate characters. Now before I see someone state, "yes they are, they're just working together tag team stylee", I have to call bullsh*t. If they are not separately selectable, then in my mind they are not separate characters.

NoobSmoke will be fighting other characters 2 vs. 1, so far as the MK:D storyline is concerned. That just kills it for me. Both Smoke and Noob could have been so bad@ss separate and with their own identities, but ahhh well, another couple of one time cool MK characters with awesome potential bite the dust.

I think smoke looks great. They've given him a great ethereal effect, which is spooky, but suits him.

Noob Saibot, on the other hand, appears to be wearing a codpiece.

In the screenshots Noob lookes like snakeeyes but in one close up you can see his face resembles his older look.(blue glowing eyes)
Oh and at least hes still Noob Saibot. (bio confirmed)

I didnt like it at first, but then i kind of grew to like it. It is definitely a nice change and i can't wait to unlock these two fighting michines
