Anyway, Raiden did have his God lingo in MK:DA, and seeing that all the returning classic characters would get all their special moves plus more, it would be very likely that he would say that when he performs the infamous Torpedo.

MK games have always had hilarious little snippets in stuff like that.

Hell, one of the only things I liked about MK4 was the throw yells "onedeadninja!" "hoi'mgonnathrowyouoverthere!"

I also liked how in Jax's and Liu Kang's endings they both said (Jarek in Jax's) "But I thought you were gonna-" and got cut off. I've always loved that.

Hell, when you get down to it, isn't the only clone in the entire MK saga Mileena? Wasn't she actually Kitana's clone?

i know but i am not happy with this development. i mean weve had the whole ermac kenshi telekenetic drama and now raiden is added to it all. i mean everyone should have his or hers own specific moves. two ice characters, two telekinesis characters, two electric characters. whats next? ryu and ken?

When two similar characters have been in MK games, they never had the same moves. The only exception I can think of is Sub Zero and Classic Sub Zero in UMK3 who both had the Sub Zero freeze for some reason. Oh, and Human Smoke and Scorpion also in UMK3. Ok, and Sektor and Smoke. Damn, MK3/UMK3 was bad for that.
Frost didn't have Sub Zero's moves. She had different freezie moves. I don't think Kenshi and Ermac will share moves and and don't think Raiden and Ashrah will share moves. I don't even think Smoke and Scorpion will both have the spear.

So many people claim to know what the character roster is and claim that it is official. Well I'm sick of it, I'll believe a character is in the game when Midway release a 3-D render of the character.

I don't believe he's in the game completely, but many magazines and sources confirm that he is returning in form or another which gives me more reason to believe.

I do sometimes think that Boon INTENTIONALLY misleads us to fuck with our heads and get people's hopes up.

I remember starting a thread called "Li Mei Konfirmed" and was flamed like there was no tomorrow, and that all started as rumour as well. But this is an official pamphlet that's been posted at MKOnline news so I think they know what they are talking about. Guys a scan would be ripper!

Boon is renowned for pulling our legs, ever since the days of MK2. I mean he has the nerve to say that there are STILL secrets in MK2 that have not been discovered. WHATEVER I say.

HELL YEAH Iam glad Raiden is in the game. He's been my favorite (w/Scorpion) all the way. If Scorpion gets his teleport punch back, then Raiden has to have his "torpedo" attack.

I hope one of his 3 outfits resembles closely his MK1 or MK2 look.

I also want to see him raise his arms in triumph in victory and summon thunder and lightning like the glory days, now in 3D.

meh really did not need either raiden or jax. raiden was awesome in mk1 and mk2 but he has got less interesting in mk4 and especially ho hum in mk5. and jax...he was ok in mk2 but he is the worst thing i have ever seen in his mk5 ghetto get-up. jax is a huge shit smear to the mk6 roster and i hope gs is wrong.
