It could be Jade, and I hope it is, but it's most likely Tanya.

I also think Jade. Tanya is much darker then Jade, Tanya is close to Jax which is why I don't see how that could be Tanya. Plus giving Tanya a green outfit goes against all logic imo.

I think it is Jade, because they brought back Mileena, then why not Jade the other female ninja trying to capture Kitana. I also think that Tanya might be a playable character also.


P.S. Have anyone noticed that they are a lot of Female characters in this game.

I think it's Jade, for pretty much these same reasons.

Here is a question. Why would Jade be playable and on the select screen (to the right of Sub-Zero) and be trapt in prison in that one stage.
However, mabe one of the characters is Jade and the other one in prison is Tanya or vise versa.

I am pretty sure its Jade. It has the same skin color and i think its Jade. If it is Jade, everything is great, except i dun like her hair...they shud have dont braids on her or somethin else besides that. I hope its Jade

As some on you might know by my name. Im shittin myself. I hope sooo much this is Jade. Cause Jade is a green gem. makes sense. I can't be too excited because what if it is Tanya. Some one look on the character select screen. the girl on the left blacked out with the two hair strands,i think is tanya. This was the only person i wanted in deception, so i hope , hope this is her... But in the prison she has her old costume on. that's what sways me to tanya. But for final i think... JADE'S BACK

It would be a stretch for a comparison but does anyone have a pic of Tanya (she was wearing yellow, in one of the trailers) in the puzzle kombat mode, that could be used as a pic comparison.

The pic that we all saw showed that at the top of her knees, the material looked like a gem stone, so it the color does resemble a jade tone. It would be beyond reason and logic why they would give Tanya an outfit with that color. So I'm sayin' it's Jade.

I believe it's Jade, for the simple reason that she is supposed to be a playable hidden character in this game. And it makes no sense to put Tanya in a green oufit, wehn we've grown used to that being Jades colour.

I hope it's Tanya. I think the colour will be changed, making people think that Jade could be in it. They have done similar things with weapons, and then set that right, so why not with colour palettes? I think Tanya has more potential than Jade, and she has been confirmed as a playable character.

The middle one is of Tanya from the puzzle mode.

Now, both of the character's hair is down, but it looks like Tanya's is over the ears while the girl in green is behind them.

It also looks like the girl in green has part of her her hair pulled back in a MK:DA Kitana like way(You can see that better on the real picture and not this little cropped version)... but I can't really tell what the back of Tanya's looks like.

I think it's Jade. A lot of people seem to want her back, and it'd just be stupid to have Tanya not only out of her trademark yellow but also in Jade's green.

Besides, did we ever get actual confirmation that Tanya would be in the game?

I was told all day in chat that it's been confirmed Tanya's in it and I think they said confirmed playable. I hope it's Jade though, she rocked in UMK3.

Perhaps Jade and Tanya are the same person. Like she uses the code-name Jade with her ninja gear, and the name Tanya in other situations. Since we've never seen Jade unmasked or Tanya masked, this seems plausible to me. *note* I'm not trying to piss off any Jade/Tanya fanboys, just presenting a possible scenario.

I think someone should contact midway about this issue ( same with the smoke/noob costume, and the Kitana/Lei Mei prob ) cuz it's gettin a whole lot of people pissed.

Make us try to unsolve the Jade secret as soon as we gat the game!
I do beleive it is Jade... MK Team heard us complain about LiMei and Mileena being to much alike... they wouldn't repeat the same error by giving Tanya Jade's look.
Just an opinion!

I thought it was Tanya with a new look just to make it look like Jade because i thought the real Jade was just a hidden character, not a major MK:D character and why would they show a hidden character now anyway if it is Jade???

I just called his place. He said he is working on the game or at his office on his answer machine.

i think its tanya....it doesn't look like jade in the face.
