Hate him, I've never been able to take the guy seriously

Well, it seems there are actually many who like him, and the ones who hate him say:

The story.

So, I think Cage should sit out of MKD and come back with a totally improved story. He should end when the MK series end. He is one of the main originals.

reasons not to like him:

1. hes starting to get old.
2. his story line is boring.

reasons to love him:

1. his moves are good.
2. his looks really improved during DA.
3. hes a classic character.

I don't wanna see Johnny Cage again.

He was just making a point and putting Scorpion as the main example was the best thing to do.

Its obvious people complain about Cage, Kitana, Sonya, Raiden, etc. but what about Scorpion??? They just try to close their minds and ignore this fact.

go look at my thread to see how lame I think scorpion is lol. But anyway, back to johnny cage. I dont really like or dislike him. I thought he was ok in MK and I thought he was awesome in MK2. IN trilogy he was just a better drawn MK2 johny cage. and in mk4 he started getting retarded with the whole movie star 007 look. I mean honestly, whos gonna fight to the death in a suit?
