I remember someone posting about the return of a classic violent franchise coming up in the june issue of EGM. "get your splashguards ready for this one" The "BIG" game they were talking about was get this, SPLATTERHOUSE! I guess EGM was a little misleading to the public to hype sales, being that the quote was in the issue when midways gamers day was rapidly approaching. I should have known it wasn't going to be the new MK game with the fallout between EGM and Midway and all. I was still hoping for some new pics of MK VS. DCU though. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around splatterhouse making a return. Anyways, I'll stop ranting on about this. I'm just letting anyone who was waiting for the issue that MK VS. DCU is not the game they hinted towards. Let me know what you think.

Yea its pretty well known that EGM is banned from MK coverage because of their low scores on previous games ...... then again considering what we're getting I don't think EGM is missing out on much. Not to mention that judging from the video's we've seen thus far, everything from the graphics to the fighting itself still seems like DA, Deception, Armageddon , down to the plastic action figure art style to the stiff animation. If EGM were to review this game, it would most likely be given shitty scores ( and rightfully so ).

Really Deception was an excellent game, and considering the MK team took away the 2 great things going for it ( story, I.E. bio's, proper endings ect, and unique fatalities ) and replaced it with shit in Armageddon, you can see that MK vs. DC will suffer a similar fate in not having fatalities, and a down right awful story, so I expect a lot of magazines getting banned from Team MK coverage as this game will most likely hover in the 6.5 to 7 range.

I was being sarcastic with the all caps thing. Not really excited. I just think EGM could have hyped up a better exclusive than splatterhouse....

False. EGM is not banned from MK coverage. Midway simply stated they weren't providing EGM with material to review, anymore. EGM can cover MK games all they want. They just have to acquire information from sources other than Midway.
