I know that feeling, but I believe its because those of us who watched all the video's and left no surprise for when we actually get the game ruined it for ourselves. I regret watching all those fatalities, the intro, and reading up on the story, even just finding out who was in the game. I miss the days when I was too stupid to actually research the shit I like and when a new MK came out it was like Jesus' second coming was in progress. Curiosity killed the cat, and I think if the MK team doesn't have some serious secrets they have been hiding, then next time they shouldn't give in and give so much away.

That is definately a good way to think about it, i mean i got so personaly caught up in finding info I just may have spoiled it for my self..lol
but its all so the story developement it seems speratic like they just add on here and there with no definate destination.

I'm still looking forward to this next installment of Mortal Kombat but yeah I agree that the guys at Midway could have released too much information about the game.
Just look at how popular the Grand Theft Auto series has been R* Games keep most of the details about their games from the public until the very last minute.

My God! Is there a spirit that makes you goto the IGN site and DOWNLOAD these videos? I mean comon! If you don't want to spoil anything for yourself, don't continuously go looking for it..!
I personally love these smll videos because it builds up the anticipation for me.
As for the new bio's that have been released, the MK crew didn't seem to be too enthralled about Darrius, even though some of them really tried.
I got the same impression with the Kira bio.

Perhaps reading my post would have benefited you and you wouldn't look like a complete fool because I already addressed the issue of ruining the surprise for ourselves by looking at the media. I'm expecting a mindless reply to this post too, so feel free to flame.

I moved in a Inuit village up north a month and a half ago.
I'm so glad that here we can't really get high speed stuff on Internet resulting in the fact that I can't download stuff.
I'm sad that now I know all the Characters, even If the promise TONS of surprise, we know we'll get only little (rumors say that Noob-Smoke is the secret guy... I want everyone that did make it to MKD).
So I did not watch the Intro, don't really know the story, and haven't seen the fatalities (maybe one or two).
I was disapointed that the MK team released the TWO fatalities of Darrius... What the Fuk! We now knoww his two outfit (thought I haven'T seen them) and both his fatality.
I'm happy, caus as I said I did noit seen anything...
But people ruined theire experience, aned will complain big time wheen the game comes out.
Thewre loss.
At the same time, MK Team should hired a new guy for the promotion.
Nothing is left to the imagination and hope now...
But still, I'm happy to be cut-off the hype!
