Well.You can sort of do that using Shujinko.Just not the in between rounds part.You can however give your shujinko the weapon of your choice.

That'd be sweet if each character had a rack of weapons to unlock and choose from. They'd all be similar weapons but have different stats, say if someone used a sword al their weapons would be swords just different styles with different pros and cons.

I think its a good idea, but I think the personalized weapons, like SubZero's for instance just makes the character. I don't see a need for weapon select but it would be pretty cool. Who knows, maybe its in there lol.

It would take away the "original feeling" for the character. Just my opinion though.

I dont think it would be that good an idead personally, as like people have said, certain weapons are characters trademarks. Eg Kitana's fans, Mileena's sais, Sub Zero's Ice Kori Blade etc.
