Hi all,

It's been a long time since I posted on here, although I've been lurking from time to time. There's just not an MK game for me to play and get excited about right now. But I still feel a part of this community, I've had so many great experiences and memories here and I hope there will be many more (Hint, hint: Midway, make a playable MK game that can compete with the likes of Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter!).

Been extremely busy lately. It's always crunch time in the game industry and we are supposed to ship our first game in October so it's going to be Major crunch until then. I work almost every Sunday. Today is Labor Day and I am at work right now. But I am just happy to be making games for a living.

Due to the lack of a good MK game to play, I've been filling my time with Resident Evil 4, Soul Calibur III, and Kingdom Hearts II. I am anxiously waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4 to come out next year, but I have to buy a PS3 first.

Later all.

Sup Raiden?! How's the job going bro? Got any cool stuff yet?

I know you don't have much love for MKA but I'm sure you'll be back for MK8.

Yo, Trax,

It's going good man, although it's crazy busy. When I first joined the team back in June they only had the game engine. The only thing you could do was run around in the game world.

Now we are actually adding some content so it's starting to look more and more like a real game. You can actually do stuff like pick-up items, move/use them and so on. It's very exciting.

Yeah, MKA is a pretty lame excuse for a game. I stopped playing it back in February or so. I do hope Midway makes a better game next time, cause this time I am not automatically buying it. Whenever it comes out, I'll wait to read all the reviews, and if it's not a good game, Midway is not getting my money this time.

Sounds like you're having a blast, dude! I opened a thread a while back asking if folks are doing what they dreamed of as kids. Your answer is probably, "hell yeah!!!"

The fact that you're now developing games means you probably automatically know what MKA is lacking. Put it to use bro and ensure your team don't make the same mistake. I'm actually starting to get irked by the weird things on MKA but at the same time I've grown to like the game but it still doesn't excuse some of the BS in it.

Keep doing your thing and stay focused bro. And don't forget to keep us posted so we can go and bye your game when it's released. It would greatly enhance my bragging rights.lol
