well of course he'll have his hook swords!
but they'd have to get rid of madavo,or give him a new weapon.

I think hooksword stink period. They need to give kabal like double broadswords or something new to make him a little bit more interesting

I think he will have them! and I think hookswords are great weapons, in MKDA I used them alot b/c I thought they were very good!!!

The hookswords in MKDA sucked ass. And of course Kabal will have his weapons back, it wouldnt make sense not to.But Boon and the Dev team really need to completely revamp the Hookswords,Sai,and the Kori Blade. Those were by far the worst weapons in DA. The Dev team should add a lot more flashy moves and longer combos to enhance the weapon fighting perspective of MKD. The weapon fighting should be one of the the many major focal points of improvement for Deception.

The power alone almost made up for the hookswords lack of...most everything else.

If they sucked, them why should Kabal have them, even though they are his weapons?????????????????

Of course Kabal should have them. Kabal's not Kabal without Hookswords. But they could also throw Mavado in: just give him Hsu Hao's Sun-Moon weapon.

The hooksword style did suck arse, basically mavado's style with them was far too rigid and his moves didnt really flow to well. also im not sure if it was just me or if anyone else thought that they just didnt look right, there was something about them that just made them look wrong.

I really liked the Hookswords style in MKDA. And I don't want Kabal to have them. I like Mavado having them and want him back. Kabal can easily get some new weapons and this is his chance to have something not seen before.

If they give them back to him, then that's fine. Although I think it'll be a new pair rather than his old ones. The story bewteeen him and Mavado needs to continue.

Tgrant, I absolutey agree with you. Mavado is by far one of the best new mkda characters, but he also has so much plot potentail. Plus i want to beat up my cousin with Mavado when he is using Kabal.

Agreed! Mavado is one of the best! Both he and Kabal are fave characters of mine so I like this story that has been given to them both. And Mavado does have plenty of potential! Hopefully they'll put him in MKD.

I agree, most of the weapons and weapon fighting needs to be improved. The hookswords were kind of slow and would be better off if you can perform more fluid combos.

Nunchaku, (my favorite weapon) definitely needs some major improvements.

They were just horrible, they were to slow and had absolutely no combos at all.Dont get me wrong Mavado was a great character,his hand to hand styles were awesome, but I always stayed away from his hookswords.


I like Kabal and I think he should get his hooks back, but only if the Dev team add more combos and make the weapon a lot faster. Otherwise,if the Dev team did that, then I would have no problem with the Hookswords but until I see the improvement the hookswords were still one of the worst weapons in MKDA
