Has there been any visual confirmation of either of them being able to do air fireball?

Well mileena never had a fireball, maybe her air sais.I hope Kabal has his air ball back.

fireball is a term for any projectile, weather sai, ice blast or spark. Started around the streetfighter time.

You mean it the air right. I don't think there has been any confrimation of using themin the air. They are in the game as normal attacks.

LOL i never called anything that wasn't a fireball,a fireball. In the street fighter 1 through 2 time, everyting was a fireball, but i never called sub zeros freeze etc etc a fireball when MK came out.Maybe that's just where you live or something.

No worries.Different strokes for different folks.
Either way.I hope to see some air moves appearing in deception.

In one of the fight vids, they pause to check/show us some moves, and all of Kabal's special move button motions were shown.
I've always referred to projectiles in general as projectiles, but I've always known character's projectiles by their individual names, or barring that, what they actually are: Freeze, Bolt, Sai shot, Plasma ball(Ermac)/Shot(Kahn), etc...

just wonder if it would serve much purpose anyways. air moves arnt as useful in 3d as they are in 2d but there still some.
About Me
To anyone who cares, I'm not banned. I left of my own accord. This place is dead to me now.

I think the air game in Mortal Kombat is dead. I recently saw a move list for Sindel and it didn't list an air fireball - or even her trademark levitate move. It did list only three moves, so it may be preliminary.

Like scorpion555 said, 3D air moves wont be as good as it was in 2D, but if you time your jumping and throwing/launching projectiles right then it may end up as a challenge. Sindel IMO should have at least her levitate OR air fireball move because they worked fine for me in MK Trilogy and I would like to see them in 3D aswell.

i think she does have her levitation move. i dunno i heard that someplace. if she does, then she probably WILL have an air fireball cuz there's not much else she can do in the air but just, float =/

Well,That info is great, but since when did Mileena have a levitation move?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you might be thinking of Sindel!!

Thats what he was talking about, Sindel. Somebody before stated that they checked Sindel's move list and it ended up being a talk about her not having her aerial moves.
