Kabal as we all know is an ex-BlackDragon member that used to fight along side with Kano. He was attacted by Kahn extermination squads, no RedDragon members and now fights for injustice. What I mean is that Kabal is "good" and he isn't part of the Blackdragon. If there is no BlackDragon members, there is no reason for RedDragon members I think.

I just wish he doesn't use his hookswords (or whatever the hell they are!) like Mavado did. I hope they change the move set from how Mavado played in MK:DA, because Kabal would suck if he played exactly like Mavado, IMO. He needs to be unique.

Speaking of Kabal, I wonder what his two fighting stances are.

Kabal won't have the same moveset as Mavado, he's built differently than Mavado. Mavado was thin and quick, while Kabal is bigger than Mavado, Mavado's moves wouldn't suit Kabal. As long as he has the scary face fatality (and they actually make it scary this time), I'm happy.

Does anybody even know if Mavado is gonna be in MK:D? Also, if each character will have a different weapon, what is Li Mei gonna have if Mileena already has Sai as her weapon?

Li Mei has the Melon weapon.

As for Mavado, there hasn't bene any word on whether or not he will be in the game. I am hoping he will be.

Exactly man. It's the same for Kung Lao, Quan Chi, Sonya, Kitana, Drahmin, Shang Tsung and others. Why build up their stories the way they did and then just dump them and leave them out of MKD. It doesn't make sense!

I beleive Mavado is alive and well, even if (and I hope it doesn't happen) he misses out in MKD. He had one of the biggest stories in MKDA, he's connected with many characters now in MKD (Kabal, Sub Zero, Kenshi, Kira, Jax if he's in).

They wouldn't kill an important character quietly between games like they did, say Sheeva. IF Mavado dies, it'll be a big deal with one of his big enemies killing him off. It would make no sense to kill him so soon, plus Boon himself really likes the guy, so I think Mavado will be around for a while yet.

Of course, I speak as a Mavado fanboy too, and really want him to make it to MKD. He's been top of my MKD wish list since day one.

If Mavado does make it, I really want him to have hookswords like Kabal has (I think/hope Kabal will use his in different ways). But they could give him some other weapon, other characters have changed, and old concept artwork of Mavado shows him with a fencing sword.

Im not sure yet what kind of weapons is Kabal using at the moment but I will later check the pics again.

As for Mavado, Im sure he is alive. Something tells me he will be in MkD after all; with Kabal, Jax and Kenshi in the game, I think Mavado is a must.

Kano is lost, we dont need him in MKD.

Kabal has his Hookswords but they are not the same ones he lost to Mavado. Mavado is still alive and will be in Mortal Kombat: Deception. He might use the Sun-Moon blades to honor Hsu Hao. Jax being in the game might not happen.

i didnt like mavado for the simple fact that he killed one of my favorite characters KABAL! then he killed KANO! but now kabal is back and im hoping kano comes back 2! he was always one of my favorite characters in the mk universe! but anyways yes i think mavado will be back and he will be in alot of trouble! he will have to deal with KABAL, JAX, KENSHI, SUB-ZERO! So yes i do think mavado will be in the game. but i still beleave everybody in the mk universe will be in the game!

if mavado were to come back in MK:D....what weapons, besides hookswords, would you rather have him use? something that fits his persona and character?

Mavado never killed Kabal. He left him to die, but Kabal didn't. And we have no idea if Mavado has killed Kano.
