Kabal Should lose the mask
Kabal Should lose the mask

posted04/06/2004 01:10 PM (UTC)byI think that they should design Kabal without the mask. I think that would be a good change for him in MK:D. I think it would be awesome if you saw his scarred up face. I think that would really make him look evil and vicious, just like MK:D's theme is. What do you think about him losin his mask?

Well um according to tha fatality in mk3 this dudes preety ugly under tha mask. so i think it would be better if he didnt have his mask in his ALTERNATE costume.

I agree ,I think I said this in an earlier post.Or may revamp it would be nice also.It seems like its way to big for his head.

He very well should not loose the mask. For starters, he needs that mask to breathe. Its not just a mask its a respirator. Secondly, it takes away one of his fatalities. As goofy as it was, they can certainly rework it to make the "scare you to death" fatality gruesome, badass, and serious. Unless they give him a smaller respirator type mask so you can see some of his face for his ALT., he should keep the one he has now. But he souldnt loose it altogether.

agreed. If each char. has 3 outfits he shuold be equipped with...
1) revamped MK3 costume
2) smaller respirator that covers his chin and bottom nose, leaves the eyes
3) hidden costume of how he looked BEFORE he got acid spit on his face...when he was human in other words

I want him to keep his mask. Thats what makes him original and mysterious. Maybe if he gets beat up alot he could loose his mask during the fight or something. But i prefer him with the mask on.

I think that the mask should be changed to look a bit less intrusive. Something that covers his mouth and nose perhaps, but not his whole face. We can see some scarring, and maybe one eye could be discolored, but (despite his somewhat lame MK3 fatality) his face doesn't have to look all that bad.
I'd also think it'd be cool to have an ALT costume that shows what he looked like before. But this is all just my opinion.

I agree. The guy needs to keep his mask on, if he doesnt, it lets out the total mystery of him. If anything has to change for his alternate costume, let it be his clothes and such. Perhaps he could even have a different type of mask, as long as it doesnt reveal his face. To me, the only time kabal needs to show his face is when its fatality time.
He needs to keep his mask because it allows him to breath. Screw his crappy fatality about him blowing oxygen into the person and having him float up. He needs it to breath. No it should not fall off during a battle because he would then be gasping for air. And no alt costume about what he looked liked before he was disfigured by the extermination squad not acid. Maybe a peek of his face just to see what he's like would be nice since it would be more easy to see than it was in MK3

no, definately not, it would ruin the mystery...course, if its a MUST, i suggest it being a SECRET/ALTERNATE outfit...

I like the half covering mask thing with the unmatching eyes... gives him a sort of gruesome look.. but as an alt.. his MK3 costume should be the way to go..

i have an idea for kabal's ''realistic'' ''scare you to death'' fatality! ok, here goes... tell me what ya think bout it, ok?
the area darkens, kabal grabs his mask in the back, and slowly peells it off his gruesome deformed face, and takes it off, the tube still in his neck, his defroemed fleshy face is revealed, he breathes heavily and heart-clenching deadly glare in his eyes, he slowly walks torward the enemy, they scream their head off and slowly take a few steps backweard, then kabal jumps right up in front of them, [it goes into a close up of their faces meeting, then zooms out] the opponent clenches his/her chest where his/her heart is then screams in bloody pain as their soul [a green, real-looking soul, not the white version o fthem selves like in the past game] flies out of their body and just leaves, while the body, soul less, falls over, blood coming from the mouth, ears, and nose, even oozing through their eyes from internal bleeding of their heart blowing up from the horrific fear of seeing kabal's true terrible face...
*sighs* phew, i made it up as i typed, so sorry if it sucks

nope
it'd be like scorp losing the ninja outfit & the spear or Raiden the hat or kung lao the hat. It's just not right.

I thought it was only the mask that kept Kabal alive?

Personally I dont mind either way as long as he looks awesome!! Every character goes through a few changes between games so I wouldnt expect Kabal to look like he did in MK3, so since hes going to look different its hard to say until we see what the MK team come up with. Im sure if he looks awesome no one will mind whether hes masked or not, its only when people arent happy that questions like this arise.

I love Kabal and his mask. I hope he kills that fag, Mavado. He should have a with-mask costume and a w/o-mask costume, cuz he would be friggin awesome without it. I did like the dread-lock thingys he had at the back though :D
