He should have a storyline. All of the characters in DA's Krypt had storylines.

His story line will be something like this.Well
I didnt get my a$$ beat enuff last time so lets
get it kicked alot more this time.Long Live Johnny Cage.

Of course he'll have a story. Whether it'll be good or not is unknown. It'll be another revenge story more than likely against Mavado.

Quite frankly i think Kabal was announced too early. It looks like Mavado won't even be in the game now, so another fan-forced character ruins a storyline. If Kabal was announced as the last character (when there was room), then there would be no reason to complain.

Kabal is 100% confirmed from Steve Berran's mouth. Along with Noob, Smoke (yes smoke is definitely in), Mileena, Baraka, Nightwolf, Tanya, Sindel and Ermac.

Man Kabal's original storyline was good. He was supposed to have been the next choosen one in MK3. But he just never came over to 3d. Whatever they do with him his story will be good and be a key story 4 the whole game.

I think he will have a fairly decent storyline. I'd like it to perhaps shed some light on his dealings with the Black Dragon, and obviously his where abouts since MK3.

I hope that Kabal will take revenge on Mavado, because he was beaten by him and Mavado stole his hooksword.now Kabal is very MAD

Personally i really liked Kabal, His sotry line was pretty good, carred for life for betraying the black dragon, so he really has to enemies, Mavado, which i think will be in the game to settle the score, and Kira, the remenant of the black dragon, he has to be back to settle botch scores, and he must have something to give to the story he had great potential and very cool moves, i luv it!!!!

I'm just glad he is back. If he does have a great story then that's a plus and if he doesn't oh well. I play this game to play with good and kool characters not to read their stories.

Seems some people care more about the story than the actual gameplay. This is a fighting game not a book.

well said, some people treat MK like it's a book. although I love the story behind MK, the gameplay and design of the game are the most important in the game.

Yea, the story is very good I agree.

But people need to realize this is a video game so it's meant to be played which is why the characters and the whole fighting system is the most important matter. Bringing back alot of classic characters that most of the MK fans love is a great idea. It's all about playing with them since you only see the story everytime you beat the game but you play with the characters every time you play the game.
