I'm having a some trouble with Kano's first fatality where he throws the knife to finish the opponent. I've tried to perform it for an hour, but can't get it to work. The guide book says " away, down, away, towards, X (attack 1), but I found a page online that says "left, down, left, right, X." Does it matter which side of the screen you're on, or not? I use the d-pad, but should I use the joystick instead? Also, does it matter with fatalities if you're up close or far away from your opponent? I'm just trying to ask as many questions as possible, because this really shouldn't be this hard. I have noticed that certain moves in the guide are actually wrong because I've looked them up in the moves list in the game, such as Sub-Zero's Cold Slide. Unfortunately, the game does not list the fatalities.
