One of the best moment I love in MK story was when general Kano defeated the armies of both Kitana and his allias .I would love to see Kano as I really like his moves and story .And I think he will make it .He is very Iconic much more than Baraka .

Also he fits the game very much , much more than Cage .

.... i dont got any thing against Kano... i do like his character but never really used him much except in UMK3... but yeah ive never thought of Kano as a real big iconic MK character... yeah he is one of the originals from the first MK, but easily the least liked and iconic of all those characters. personally i wouldnt mind if Kano is in though i do think there is a lot of other well deserving characters to be in. Kano isnt even super popular either so.... i mean Mileena, Kung Lao, Reptile, Ermac, Kitana, Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Baraka are all way more popular.

i was out having a smoke thinking about Kano... and well i am actually a fan of Kano just never liked to use him really in any game but MK3/UMK3.... anyways i still actually doubt he will be in the game though he does have some what a chance imo. but i wouldnt mind him being in the game at all. as long as they make him good. if Kano ends up in this game and he sucks balls then imma be pissed some one else wasnt in.

overall i guess im down with Kano being in the game. really in order for the Kano/Baraka pattern to continue Kano must be in this game!

I'll be very disappointed if Kano is in this game. I don't think he's iconic at all....certainly not more iconic than Kitana, Reptile, Mileena, or many others. There are much better MK villains to choose from. Also, so far all the MK characters have been from MK1...and I expect we're still going to get Raiden and maybe another. And how many of God damn MK1 losers are we going to include in this game?

*Kano was born with Mortal kombat just like scorpion, shang Tung subzero, and Rayden and this proofs or makes him an iconic character.There is no need to make Comparison with other character.

*Every fan has a favorite character, I don't hate Kitana, Reptile, Mileena, but I still like kano more. We all love to see Kitana, Reptile, Mileena, but you have to take into consideration that they might not join mk list becauce the list is very short.

*I am very disappointed when I heared that sonya is back, but after seeing her new picture and her new game play, I liked her alot.
so maybe when see Kano with the first time if he returned, you might change your mind like me.

Well he is from MK1, so with the current pattern I'd say he'll be in.

I would rather Kano not be in. I was excited when he was announced in MKDA, but he wasn't any good in that game. That was Kano's last chance for me, so I would rather him not be in.

As much as I would find it messed up if Kano was the only character from MK1 that wouldn't make it, I would much rather Johnny Cage be in. Only reason I didn't say Raiden is because he will obviously be in.

yea itd be cool if he was in this game but like someone said superman has his eye laser so maybe he might not be in. It would be cool to see his movies in other characters as well. And by the way imo reptile is more iconic then him.

I don't love Kano, but I don't hate him either. He's always been one of those MK characters that I could take or leave. For this game however, I'm gonna say no. Only because the roster is so small. If by some chance he does make it in though, I'm not gonna cry about it.

P.S. I don't think the whole "Well, Supes has his eye lazer, so he can't possibly be in the game.." argument really works. Kano didn't have that as an ACTUAL special move until Deadly Alliance. It started as a Fatality in MK3. Kano has a bunch of other moves that could easily fill the "5-6 specials per character" quota. There are valid reasons why Kano probably shouldn't make this game... but that, IMO, isn't one of them.

Kano rules I like him. I think he's pretty iconic....he's a buff middle-aged looking savage hairy guy with an australian accent who looks like he hasn't showered in a week. Plus he's sneaky and would backstab his best friend to move up in the world. Nah seriously though I always liked his moves and MK1 style outfit and the butterfly knives, it'd be cool to see him in.

*Remember that Mk characters can kill and perform any Fatality, but Dc characters can not perform Fatalities. Therefore, expect to see more than ripping hearts.

*If KANO is back, he might have his eye laser, and he might not have it. If you make a comparison between superman and KANO, the eye laser of Superman is more different, powerful and harmful than KANO. They are two completely different special movies.

*About Kano: Besides taking out his eye laser won’t affect his status because what is special about that character is his cannon ball and not his eye laser. What is iconic about that character is his cannon ball and not eye laser.

*Kano was born with cannon ball move and superman was born with eye laser move which is completely different move.

*About kabal and flash: They both have the same special movies.
Kabal has a special move which is Web Spin and which is very iconic move.
Flash has a special move which is Web Spin and which is very iconic move.
Therefore, making a comparison between these two characters, they are totally the same in special moves.
That’s why kabal is not joining the game.

You can’t say superman and kano have same special move, therefore kano is not coming back. Superman doesn’t have cannon ball move, or Knife Throw, or Blade Swipe, or Grab and Shake so this makes them two completely different characters.
