Well, some of you have already cleared somethings up, but I think I should give a clearer answer if you don't mind.
Kenshi and Ermac are two different characters. Like stated before in this thread, Ermac is an enigmatic ninja warrior made from souls of deceased warriors. These souls have been manipulated by Shao Kahn.
Kenshi is a rogue swordsman from Earthrealm who is a descendant from a line of warrior kings who lived in a region between Europe and China and his people were a mixture of the two.
When Kenshi traveled to Outworld in search for Shang Tsung, he came across and symphatized with Ermac because he could relate to him. Kenshi had been manipulated by Shang Tsung while Ermac had been maninpulated by Shao Kahn.
When Kenshi was tricked into releasing the souls of his ancestors, Shang Tsung left Kenshi to die in the tomb and it blinded Kenshi, but the ancient sword of Kenshi's ancestors gave him powers such as that of the Telekinetic Push and the Telekinetic Toss. When Kenshi freed Ermac from Shao Kahn's control, Ermac taught Kenshi the Telekinetic Slam.

No, no, no. They are both on the select screen. They are individually selectable characters. Just think about it for 30 seconds, that's all. Ermac=souls, Kenshi=human. Human not = multiple souls.

The writers for the 2nd movie totally f*cked up the MK story line - remember, they tried to include every single character ever, even at the expense of a good plotline. Remember how Rain was in it for a minute? Then Kahn killed him (what!?) So Noob coming out of Ermac's body = producer's corny way of including 2 characters in 1. And contrary to that terrible movie, Shinnok, Raiden, and Kahn are NOT blood related lol

I think that was Noob Saibot coming out of Ermac, but that doesn't really matter since the storylines of the movies and shows are not like the official storylines in the games so in the real storylines, which are in the MK games, Noob Saibot and Ermac aren't really connected though they have served Shao Kahn in the past.
