What do you like?
I still prefer Kenshi from MKDA, because his styles. San Shou was good, and his Katana was the best. They changed the Katana a little in Deception and gave him Judo Style, that are not good.

I never really got into DA but he's my favorite character in MKD

I like him better in D.

I like him in both, but if I had to choose, I'd only say DA because he had San Shou fighting style.

He was my best character in MKDA, he had a powerful 52% juggle combo that involed 3 Teleslams, a few punches and kicks, that ended with a TeleThrow. He has been reduced so that he can do no more than one Teleslam per juggle but he can add his telekicks in his juggles now. My opinion is that he is not as threatening as his MKDA counterpart though still an exelent character.

Kenshi is an excellent character in both games. Fairly well rounded in all three of his stances in my opinion and he has special moves that are really useful for executing alot of different combos' within each stance. Really, the only way I could judge between both games is by appearance, and I think he looks better in deception.

he rocks, I loved him in MKDA but in MKD he went right to my top ten characters, he's so cool, gotta love his new specials tele-flurry and mind warp, his get-up rocks sooo much, and his second fatality it's just wonderful to see, I only think that they could've done a better HARA Kiri for him, the one he has is cool but kinda poorly done, they could've done a lot better, oh well he owns nonetheless...

Amen to that post man! In terms of moves and gameplay, he has been raped since DA. I still don't understand why Ermac and Shujinko can use the teleslam twice while Kenshi only gets it once.... you're right about DA too! that 52% was awesome. I was looking forward to blasting people online with that in D but i guess I was denied.

I was ready to rock with Kenshi also but when E3 rolled around and I played him I was like "What the hell?" I though it was because the game was incomplete at that point but no, it was because they toned him down and gave his power to Ermac. I lost the urge to play him due to my dissapointment but I may soon discover new ways of making him one of my top players once again. I miss my Kenshi of old. Amen to that post man! He's great in deception because of the tele-flurry, it's such a great move because it's great at a medium distance where usually there are no attacks to use well. And having a teleport has to make any character twice as good. I hate playing with dial-a-combos. It reduces the standard of the game, so I'm glad to hear they took away a 52% combo from him.

hes hard in konquest thats where im stuck and its making me hate him!
i think he was better in MKDA......in EVERYTHIN

In MKDA, Kenshi had the type of combo I loved, a difficult one to pull of that did tons of damage. I liked both of his costumes. He also had San Shou.
In MKD, Kenshi had Tele-fury. I liked both of his costumes, but I prefer MKDA's alt to MKD's primary. Judo was really bad and I found Mind-Warp kind of awkward to use. Unfortunatly, storywise he chose to hang with that loser, Sub-Zero.
Unfortunatly I just can't pull off Teleslam. That makes his connect combos useless. Tele-push is a flawless special move in both games for me.
I can win rounds in MKD way faster then in MKDA, with Kenshi.
It's really tough for me to choose between them. I guess I like MKDA's Kenshi better he has more pros then cons. Something inside of me really wants me to choose MKD's Kenshi, but when I compare them like this, it just seems that MKDA's Kenshi is the better of the two.

I also liked him better in MKDA, gameplay wise.
But storywise, he was amazing in MKDA, but even better in MKD.
Overall, in special moves, fatalities and the rest, MKD Kenshi is much better.

Eh? I kinda disagree that Kenshi was better storywise in MKD. All that happened to him was Mavado kicked his ass during MKDA, Sub-Zero found him, and they travelled outworld together. and his ending was yet another one of those 'kill a character' endings, another character who had been killed in other endings already. He walks through outworld with sub, then cuts hotaru in half...ultra-weak story. Kenshi seemed more important in MKDA.
the telefury is very essential to kenshi in MKD he needed a projectile(and technically it is).. i was very happy to see this... then to top that off he has a teleport.. wow.. i really dont like the judo style as much bc it is mostly throws.. but i do like the kicking aspect of it... im glad they didnt bring back both fighting styles of MKDA simply from the aspect of how unfair of a character he could possibly be in MKD.. im very happy with Kenshi.. i enjoy his story and look (minus the boobs he has with his primary in MKD
