I don't know about Kintaro, but Motaro DOES appear in konquest mode
sorry, I check the date and hour, but I can't remember (silly me). I'm 90% sure it was daytime though.
I saw him in Earthrealm, dunno the case number but it's the last stack of hut before the beach that leads to the docks. (there is also a guy there wanting you to scare his uncle, who has by the way locked himself in his house... I approched him 2-3 times during one day, by tring to do things to scare him but nothing worked... then he went in his hut at night and never came out ).
Anyway Motaro appears left to the first hut (starting from left). There is no chest, but when you talk to him he says "Take this" and he disapears (he gives you a tousant ruby koins) I found this really weird... BTW, motaro is the same height as you :P (just like moloch)

Well after this long time, I havent reached it yet, as a matter of fatc, you have to be there on OCT 7th, and for a kick in the ass I was on Oct 11th, so I basically had to go a year. I am now nearing April. I just decided to respond, so noone thought I gave up or died trying to get there lol.

uhm... well I got this yesterday or this morning can't remember, but I'm certain it was in june, and you made me remember that when I wa waiting for the old uncle to come out it was 6 or june... so maybe I was motaro on the 7th... 7th of any month, can that be possible?

Dude, I'm near positive that the -date- has nothing to do with it. From what I've read Motaro is there at a certain day/time, and that's it. I haven't read anything about certain months, dates, or this once a year garbage.
I went and tried it on the right day and time, and low and behold, he was there. Somehow I sincerly doubt I'm that lucky. :P
Maybe they meant that after you meet him he only reappears after a year has passed.

Well after about 3 hrs of my life, I got nothing, this really sucks.
