I like her, they didnt go overkill with giving her Kano's and Sonya's moves.

Blegh, still have yet to play the game (will probably atleast rent it this weekend to see if it's good enough to warrant a purchase) so I can't comment on her gameplay. However, as should be blantantly obvious, I love her design. From a looks standpoint, probably my favorite of the newcomers and just MK in general.

I think she looks great. Can't wait till the game comes out in the UK, and I will know for certain...but looks wise and from what I've seen in videos, she looks great!

all she is to me is a combination of Sonya and Kano. u think she only has one original special move otherwise shes just a rip off.

I like Kira, I'm really hoping she makes a return with more original thought put into her- new specials and a better ending. I never cared for Kano and I didn't really care for Sonya. I'd easily trade in both of those character permanently for Kira. I really like the whole "New Black Dragon."
I was really stoked originally for Kabal's return, then I saw Kira and before playing her reminded me of a female Kabal sans mask and female ofcourse- then I learned they are actually tied in as very close allies and part of a clan together... Then I played with her, and while I'm a little dissappointed with her specials being rips of Kano/Sonya. I like her kombat styles, her character design, and again liking the new black dragon.
and currently actually between Kabal and Kira- Kira is my favorite to use in Deception.
I think the last time my favorite cast member was a 'new' person was Kabal in MK3. Every MK after that my favorites were returning characters never was a fan of any of the new people. I'm actually shocked I dig Kira so much- weird liking a 'new' character again.

I haven’t played with her yet, but judging from what I know, I rate her low.
She isn’t THAT bad to be a stupid bitch I guess, but I think she is not near being good. She looks like a fast-last addition. A mix of 2 great characters.
While her look and story have potential, her character concept overall doesn’t.
Jarek is considered a clone because he had all Kanos moves and fatality.
Tanya was considered a clone because she took Kitanas spot.
Smoke was a clone because he was a gray Scorpion.
Etc
Etc
So yeah, Kira is sadly, a clone.
