Kitana & Mileena With Their Mk2 costumes(original only!)

I have been thinking, remmber when mileena and kitana first appeared in Mk2......well what if mileena and kitana, had their outfits back as third alternates........i really miss those costumes, so i would want them back, but with no attachements or nothing, what do you think, every fighter with their original costumes, with no new stuff added....like old fashion fighting....that would be cool....

I suppose for Nostalgic reasons it'd be nice. I don't think so though. Compared to the reworked costumes of today, they're pretty plain. On the other hand though we've seen Rieko in his classic outfit, so I guess it's not impossible that we could see it.

I agree, but Reiko's outfit is at list interesting and detailed. It's not bland like the originals of Kitana and Mileena. Those outfits look so inferior to their new stuff. But I suppose they'd redesign them like they did with Jade's MKD alt.

I would prefer Kitana's UMK3 outfit and Mileena's MKGold outfit as alternates.

i'd like to see a few characters jump back into their old outfits.
like reptile.
i really enjoyed his UMK3 and MK2 outfits.
and i honestly don't really dig rains new outfit.
i liked him better as a purple ninja.
...can't wait to see motaro though.
especially his alternate. XD

It would be awesome for all of the original fighters to have their original costumes as their 3rd alternates. That would be really nostalgic ion my opinion. Alot more fun to, seeing scorpion and subzero in their MK1 costumes and the like.furious

I dont agree, those costume were not enough detailed so if they put it in the game they will look so plain and ugly beside Rain or everyone else. And those costume were not sexy, i hope mileena will look similar to MKD and Kitana to MKDA.

thats the essential idea. they should not loko sexy at all. MK2 females owned their other incarnations badly. MKD Mileena was simply idiotic and ugly.

i've been wanting kitana and mileena to get their MK2 outfits back for awhile, but i don't think it's gonna happen.
i think they should update them like they did for jade in MK:D

untrue, there are plenty of games with a female protagonist that is not a slut, nor does she reveal anzthing more than her arms or her face. Exam-ples: Longest Journey, Long Life, Cyberia, Ashrah etc.

The fact is there should be all kinds of female characters be it classy, well dressed, sexy, scantily clad etc. It adds more variety just like life.
p.s. dressing sexily doesn't mean that the character is a slut.

In Kak you will be able to bring back those outfits. I don't think Midway will waste time making the old outfits for everyone.

I didnt talked about slut like Mileena(my fav girl) but just sexy. Kitana is sexy but not a slut nor a stupid bitch. Yea Ashrah is sexy and shes not like Mileena and Jade.

Just because someone dresses in a skimpy way doesn't mean they are a slut. Also, covering up does not mean that a character is nescessarily less sexy.
For all the people that think that ladies are sluts if they show a bit of cleavage- does the same apply to johnny cage, or shao khan?

I think that it was their hair being down that really added to the effect of how good their MK2 costumes looked. Still, it wouldn't work for MKA. Just look how Scorpion's Alt Deception outfit looked - that was a throwback to the old days that didn't pan out. Ew.

Im not sure if they should come back or not. if all costumes came back then fair enough, but as a main outfit, no.
I mean really, Kitana's MKDA costumes are both really revamps of the MK2 look, as is Jade's MKD alternate.
Plus, theyve done well with ALL the palette swaps in giving them a distinct look, and making them all differnt, so it seems silly to go back on it.

I would love to see the original outfits for Kitana, Mileena, and Jade from MK2. I also think that they sould have their original winning poses from MK2, and I would also like to see Kitana's old fans back, the new ones just don't look as cool as the pure steel one's did.
