i dont think kitana died, she was probably left weak in the stairs and then the DK picked her up and took her to his prison...simple....and i think its time for mileena TO be the victor...she needs to win this time

Kitana would probably be the best sub-boss every and would be the first female sub-boss in 12 years. I think its about time to have a female sub-boss.

I think having evil Kitana as the sub-boss for this game would be pretty cool, and would make more sense.
She's his (The Dragon King) personal body guard.
Why the fuck is Noob-Smoke the sub-boss again?

I most certainly wouldn't complain. A female sub-boss would be great. Especially if it's a great fighter like Kitana. I don't love her, I don't hate her: but I will not deny that she is definitely ONE of the best fighters in MK.

I think there are 2 reasons 4 kitana's bio:
1- SHe is a secret character (Kind of like reptile in MK1... he was a personal bodyguard, but he wasn't sub boss, he was secret)
2- THe whole story is just an exuse for everyone to die BUT without loosing the characters

Kitana, despite the huge storyline change on her part would still be owned by Noob-Smoke, therefore making a weaker person a sub-boss despite her involvement in the game seems a bit illogical.
What does seem logical is the fact that if you can't have a 12 foot monster as a sub-boss then 2 people together is a better idea.
It seems to me that when it came to things like sub-boss selection the storyline wasn't a deciding factor.

if they were basing everything on the story, then they would need like 5 sub-bosses. i mean kitana, baraka, mileena, hotaru, and then noob smoke. so i think it's good that they decided on the most powerfull and "different" one of the bunch. besides, it in a way brings back the endurance matches.

I once got a relyable respond from someone saying that there'll be a female sub-boss.
If this is the case, I hope that Kitana will be the one and will be playable too, returning with her classic fan throws.

Evil again?? Well, although Kitana was once one of Shao Kahn's assassins, I don't think she was exactly evil. Anyway, I know what you are trying to say TomTaz. I think there should be more than one sub-boss. Kitana, Hotaru, and Mileena could be like mini-bosses or something like that. I don't think Noob and Smoke are allied with the Dragon King.

That sounds cool for an idea..more than one sub boss. Def adds to the difficulty of getting to the DK..I mean You'd expect a boss like this to have many minions to have to go through anyway. So that would work. As far as what Noob-Smoke's deal is...confused your guess is as good as mine.

Kitana with more cool combos and with her old special moves back smile
And also, it'd be more interesting to have, for the first time, a female sub-boss, specially Kitana.. she's one of my favs grin

Well, She is not my fav, but I think I'm liking her a bit more. Been playing as her a lot in MKDA lately. Once you get her down..she's actually quite effective. I think she'd be great as a sub-boss.

I think Kitana would make the best sub-boss ever, so long as they worked to distinguish her from the regular Kitana we all know to the new evil bodyguard Kitana.

i love kitana, but i really want to see Mileena as the victor this time, it'll be cool to see Mileena ruling Edenia as a tyrant, releasing all her anger on the peoples.....sad, but interesting

I'd love 2 see Kitana back in action, but evil this time like mentioned; and teach Mileena and Tanya both a lesson on not taking her thrown away and to find their own thrown!!! would be awsome if she was another sub-boss after Noob-Smoke!!!

I'm not ready to see that happen, and I hate them other bitches like Mileena and Tanya.
