Made it in Paint just like all my other sprite edits. It's made from a sprite I ripped from a Ken animation, his intro I believe. Ken looks like Kobra so he made a good base.
Anyway to go back on topic, has anybody noticed that Kobra's specials all seem to involve fire (not counting his teleport)? His projectile is a fireball and he's got two kick moves where his feet are on fire while he does them. Interesting.

kind of like joe i think off of fatal fury where when he kicked and punched the flams would shadow his hands and feet, kind of bad ass imo

There is no reason to assume that just because Kobra is in, Cage is out. I'm 95% certain Cage will be in the game.
As for the Black Dragon, it's as stated: If Kabal is running thing snow, and his MK3 ending had any bearing to it, he might be reforming the BD. I wouldnt say as a 'force for good', like the Lin Kuei, but rather like a league of vigilantes.

Exactly, and my bet is that they probably wouldn't be the decent kind either. I'd say along the lines of the Punisher or something to that extent.

Wrong.
It isn't about potential at all, and in MK:DA he wasn't as bad as you would have people believe. He was mid tier, i think. He wasn't particularly useful when playing against a Scorpion or a Bo Rai Cho, but his moves weren't that crappy. He could compete.
People don't like the fact that a dead human movie star who has the same story over and over keeps resurfacing in MK, thats why he's disliked.

I've been trying to figure out who Kobra reminded me of the most by reading all the post and now that I think about it he does strongly resemble Joe Higashi (Except his looks). I like Kobra it seems he has some potential to be a long running character in MK, does anyone know any of his Fatalitys?

I guess they gave him good styles/moves cuz they felt sorry for him. He was the guy that kept getting killed in all the fatality demonstrations!

i still dont like him.. i wish i did.. i just cant see him past this SF look and name.... oh and his alt outfit sucks..

I liked his alt outfit, but he does seem very similar to Cage, especially from the way he stands, but he could be a good character though.

I'm pretty confident that Kobra will be a top tier character in Deception.

Does anyone know one fatality from Kobra, or his Hari-Kiri?
