Kochal?

I beat those three guys in netherrealm i think it was kabal kobra and li mei and it said to release kochal. When i beat all three a portal opened and i went through it and it teleported me back to start and there was a chest there. it wasn't kochal though? what is kochal?

The female fighter wasn't Li Mei, it was Kira. And Kochal is a three-headed demon.

To be honest, I don't know if he's an unlockable character, or used in the Konquest storyline at all, but that's what Kochal is.

Kochal means "Koin Challenge" which is why you get a coin chest after you beat it. Though they also put it in there as a story for a 3 headed demon. The 3 skulls by the portal represent Kochal.

so were those three heads not there until i beat those guys? and what, just a koin challenge! i think kobra could whoop you in three punches or something, it was one of those stressful challenges...

currently i am working on unlocking all the endings, im about halfway through. also i want to know if anyone has meditated for over a year. does sonya have a picture of her face up at the top by the power meter when you have to combo with her? where is kochal from again?
