After Mortal Kombat Special Forces bombed, I figured we'd never see another Adventure game with the Mortal Kombat name on it. However, I was wrong. It looks like Mortal Kombat Konquest, the adventure game in Mortal Kombat Deception, may be the launching pad for more games.

Think about it; Mortal Kombat is midway's trumph card right now. They are going to use it as much as possible to make as much money as possible. Boon already hinted at more 2-D games, so is an adventure game, based on Konquest's play system really out of the question?

Granted you wouldn't train and it wouldn't include appearances from every Mortal Kombatant, but I'd like to see more "Mythologies" games. Preferably, one based on Shao Kahn, Kitana, Sindel etc. A Mortal Kombat game based on the whole take over of Edenia. I think that would be a great game; it could also explain some of the mystery surrounding those days, and who Shao Kahn was before he rose to prominence.
