i think the konquest mode should return, but be more interactive and more in the form of a visual story instead of reading something between each level of training. like, instead of a monk walking down the long path, it would be the character you selected, and instead of reading the story...'sonya then had a confrontation with frost on the island'...and then you practice against frost, you would actually see how the confrontation began and see everything up until the confrontation, then you'd practice against frost. sort of playing along with a mini-movie of each character.

I agree. Its an excellent way to learn characters special abilities and even basic combos. I luved the mirror fight at the end of each of them that was great. (i don't think it was me but as you beat more of the characters on konquest The mirrors slightly increased in difficulty) I dunno maybe its just harder with shitier characters.

^ yes, the jax and johnny cage mirror fight kicked my ass.....both cheeks. i really hate those characters....a lot.
I hope they completley revamp the Konquest mode because after a while it got boring for me.
All I did was do combinations of moves most of the time, it got frustrating after a period of time.
It would be better if Konquest had you complete tasks or fight enemies in certain conditions, rather than learning the moves and using them on someone else. Besides there is a training mode to learn all of that.

I agree about characters increasing in difficulty. I worked through everybody and am up to Hsu Hao I am on my second time through the Konquest and well I got my ass kicked aswell. Drahmin but up a bit of a fight and well the rest seemed alot easier for me.
And the idea of showing how the confrontation comes to be is a great idea. Good work on that one

yes they should bring conquest back but in like a story mode with cutscenes and u being able to watch ur fighter grow and become the best. after u beat it with ur character it should have an ending that fits ur character. like say if u started with kung lao it would have u train with him, fight people (that would follow his story)and when ur done give him ending that would go with the story but some endings couldnt be cannon cause if u beat it say with quan chi, it could have u see how he escaped and found the dragon kings army and how wemt on to conquer the world. this is an idea and it would probly never happen because it would take to long to add the cutscenes with all the characters and have go through training and watch them progress through their story and watch them succed.

The konquest mode was a great way of learning a characters moves, but its not something you can play over and over. I'd like to see it come back along with take on the mission battle from SC is the way to go. Heaps of single player fun... although, will this be needed if the game has online play?? Still the more there is to do the better

Expanding on thsoe ideas, I'd like Konquest to allow us to act out each characters history. We can learn their full story from MK1 or whatever game they first appeared in and act out the major fights they've had up to the present time of MK6. For example, for Scorpion, we'd have to fight Sub-Zero in there as he did before. We'd also kill or lose to the appriate characters too. In between all of this, we'd learn their moves and combos. For new characters, Konquest can tell a little of their background and how they have come to be in MK.
