Sup peeps across the pond. Hope all is well. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on what to expect from Konquest as you see the secrets just flowing out. First thing to notice is the timeline of the entire Konquest section of the game and all of Kontent that the MK team put into it. Undoubtably, you will agree that it puts the whole MK story and lore into perspective. Second I have a couple of tips for you guys to use. You can play Konquest one of 2 ways and mind you either way you get the same outcome.
1. You can take your time and explore and explore and explore to your hearts desire and stumble on chests all you want as they are really not that hard to find. This will take you a LONG time as the Konquest maps and side missions are in big supply and take note also that most of the goody chests (the gold and black ones that have the keys for the krypt) are time sensitive and will not always be visible. None the less they are not all that hard to find for the most part as well.
2. You can skip every side mission and fly through Konquest unlocking shujinko and then go back later and gather up all the unlockable goodies including the moves. Also of note that doing it this way you still rack up a vast amount of coins to unlock those precious koffins that you know you want (i.e. Noob Smoke). Personally I can testify to this method as this is how I did it and I have since finishing Konquest unlocked everything later.
This is how it works. Your main missions that make Konquest progress along the timeline will have a locator. That being the green maker that will show up on your compass and map. If you stick to running to each one of those after you complete one (finishing the training included with it), you will finish Konquest in around 5hours. Now when I mention side qeusts, I am refering to walking up to random characters or known MK characters that you happen to see and talking to them. A lot of them will give you a sort of fetch quest or mini quest in which you will not have markers to guide you. The outcome of completing all of these is yet to be determined. Mind you that finishing Konquest will not remove these qeusts. They are still there for the taking, you just have to travel back to begin them by talking to them as old Shujinko.
I have told you all this to ease any stress you might have in thinking that there might be things you miss by just blowing through it. Don't fret, I have all the things everyone else does. They don't penalize you for wanting things fast. You can go back later and unlock everything, in fact its actually easier as once you finish you have all the realms unlocked and you can just take portals to jump from one to the other in seconds.
Hope this helps my friends. Wish you could all be playing with us right now winkwinkwinkwink
