posted10/17/2006 09:04 PM (UTC)byOk someone just started posting Krypt codes over on Gamefaqs Mortal Kombat: Armagedon (Xbox) Forum, and I thought he was BS, but some of them actually do work. Apprently the codes can be used inplace of playing thew Konquest mode to unlock the various stuff in the krypt. Here are the 2 I know work so far:
Meat - Up, X, X, B, B, Up
Blaze - Y, X, Left, R, Left, B
Pyramid at Crack of Dawn Concept - Y, Left, Left, A, Down, B
Red Dawn Arena - B, R, Up, X, B, Down
Nitara's Alternate Costume - Down, R, Up, R, R, Right
Shinnok's Spire Arena - Left, Left, B, Up, Y, R
Armory music - A, X, Left, Y, X, A
Taven - R, Left, White, Up, B, Down
Daegon - R, R, Y, Down, Down, X
Pyramid of Argus Arena - R, R, X, A, White, Up
Blaze concept art - R, Y, White, White, R, X
Early Taven Concept Art - Up, A, White, Down, White, A
Unused Trap in Konquest Concept Art - B, White, Y, Down, B, Left
Sektor's 2 handed pulse blade concept art - White, R, Left, A, Up, R
Mileena's car design concept art - White, Right, Up, R Y, Up
Drahmin's Alternate Costume - White, Right, A White, Up, Up
Shang Tsung's Alternate Costume - R, Left, Up, B, Up, White
Nethership Interior Arena - R, Left, Left, Down, R, X
He also list codes for unlocking Blaze, and Taven, but they include using the "Back" button which actually doesn't work. But atleast it's a start.

Interesting..
Its not pressing the Back button is really press back on the D-pad or Left Thumb
but ne way here is the others
y < < a down b unlocks concept pyramid at crack of dawn
b R /\ x b \/ unlocks red dawn arena
\/ R /\ R R forward unlocks Nitara's alt
< < b /\ y R unlocks Shinnok's spire arena
a x < y x a unlocks Armory music
when he posted these he should have did it the way I did as I can confirm these work I have tested them

I don't have the x-box version so I won't know weather they will work or not, still unlocking the hidden chars is easy in Konquest we need other codes.

so translated to ps2 buttons are:
Unlcok Meat - Up, [],[],O,O,Up
Unlock Daegon - R1,R1,/\, Down, Down, []

i don't have an xbox so i'm translating them using this image
http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/xbox2/xbox360-pad.jpg
if is incorrect, tell me please because if is correct, then maybe i can found other codes on the mkda.pak huge data file

mmmm but how did they find these kodes? casually? or there are some hidden hints? where?
Well if you have the PS2 version of the game all you really have to do is match up the buttons with the on the controller like
X is Square
Y is Triangle
B is O
A is X
R is R2
L is L2
pretty sure the triggers would be the L2 and R2 on PS2 if not try the R1 and L1

There had better be codes to unlock more KAK parts, or something special. I already beat Konquest with all 60 relics, so the Krypt is unlocked for me.
Frankly, there's already two ways to unlock stuff in the Krypt, what with Konquest and with Koins. We don't need a third option. :/

Hahahahahaha THIS is what weve been waiting to find out???
I sure as Shiat hope we get something extra from behind the questionmark other than just an easy way to get stuff in the krypt...
This would be my one big let down of the game.. and its a BIG letdown

Yes, there seems to be more codes out there for KAK I am very sure about this now because there are multiple codes..This leads us to beleive that there are more codes for other things instead of Krypt unlockables...
Thanks
Thanks

L-trigger and R-trigger translate to R1 and L1, respectively...from what I've found, at least.
The black/white buttons seem to be mapped to L2/R2, but I don't know which goes to which.

IMHO I believe the MK Team put that in their to make us thing theirs something really hidden within the game just to put out more hype then their already is about the game...
but as their was things in MKDA and also MKD that people were saying super unlockable this and that the MK team give people a reason this time to say theirs something super unlockable and trust me once again their going to lead us on about it then at like Fight Night once again Ed Boon will say
"There is NO super unlockable in this game using the ? in the Krypt"
so with that said thanks Midway and the MK team for leading us on for the third time

lol and do you know why? because of all the cry babies that complained about how bad mkd konquest was and that you was forced to play it in order to unlock stuff. this is the fans doing. they wanted alt + easy ways to get stuff, now they get it, and bitch about it. wow, who coulda seen that coming? lol.
none of you are EVER satisfied.

i didnt put any hype in me "dip" any hype that was giving to mewas by the mk team themselves. THey said they were going to put an end to this generation... well umm i havent seen that end. Just more mystery. Thats what i was hyped about seeing what happens to the charactes and why.

end of this generation IS mk armageddon. just because there isn't a big fmv ending doesn't mean anything. its still the last mk fighting game of this gen.
again, you people all created the hype for yourselves. the mk team never said there was gonna be a big ending, that was all internet bs, that some of you actually believed.

lol dude, i didnt say anything about a huge FMV ending all i wanted was them to wrap it up like they said. And acually i liked Deception konquest more, bigger world, better story, more mystery. whether its kata or cinematic. Whether its just a long text during the credits some sort of closing. No other hype than that and thats what they were trying to get us all hyped up about.. I knew konquest was gonna be what it is, same with KAK same with the game play.
