Kung Lao Help!

So i'm burning through konquest talking to ppl so many times they start to get annoyed am fighting everybody i can and i have fetched all sorts of stupid shit for people and collected a year's salary of each color koin there is and i have finally got that damn white headband. but there lies the problem. wen and shen say go to outworld and "investigate why the Beast people(tarkata) attacked the village. i have talked to all the tarkata and everybody in that little town that hotaru controls now. i have come up empty handed does anybody know where i go from here. I am just about to talk to Kano and get imprisoned in his lil jail that Li mei is in so if i have to do somehting b4 then i will wait HELP PLEASE!

"To get Raiden's Staff go to Earthrealm when you ar older (before going to
the last Realm, Edenia, preferably) and go to the big temple to the south (C7)
to find Kung Lao. You'll have to do a 10 hit combo on him. When you do, he'll
ask you to find Kai at Outworl, which will be in the Ice Caves. Kai will then
give you Raiden's Staff. What does it do? Hmmm..."

ok thanks but i need to know who to talk to about the tarkata not raidens staff althouggh i appreciate it man thanks? anybody......?

Just go through Konquest. After you are imprisoned by Kano and whatnot the story will progress.
After a certain point all the monks including Shen and Wen, will be killed by Shao Kahns forces. There's nothing you can do to complete Wen's mission just continue with the Konquest story...

so i don't need wen and shen to say ok you can meet kung lao or anything? after i go to the prison they will be gone anyways? so i've done all i can for them? sorry about all the questions but this is my third time through k-quest and i dunt wanna fuck it up and hafta start ALL OVER again

Nope...
After i go to the prison they will be gone anyways?
I'm not sure if they'll be killed immediately after you are imprisoned, but sometime before you reach Edenia, they will all be mercilessly slaughtered...
So i've done all i can for them?
