MKSM is the only game that gives Kung Lao any justice. He is totally bad-ass on that game. Seems dull in MKDA and especially MKA.

Looks...no. I like how Kung Lao has looked for the past few games. The only attire I didn't care much for was his MK:DA primary/MKA alt. Aside from that, I think he's looked cool.

Moves...again, I would have to disagree. I've enjoyed playing as Kung Lao in the last few games he's appeared in. I have no problem with his Broadsword either.

Fatalities...well his Fatalities in mK3 were lame and never saw his Gold ones. But aside from that I think he's been okay.

Now story...in MK:DA it seemed like they were setting Kung Lao up to take Liu Kang's place as the main hero which would've been cool. Unfortunately, they shot him down in Deception by having lose, die, be enslaved, and possibly bitched out by Ermac while Shujinko got both his styles and was hyped as the new main hero. Fortunately, Shujinko was a bust and they might be able to use Kung Lao's humiliation in Deception to make for a better story. Although, we also have to contend with his jerk-ass portrayal in Shaolin Monks which destroys his character and his Armageddon ending which suggests that might be canon after all.
I'm waiting out for Kung Lao's Armageddon bio to make final judgment.


So personally, I think Kung Lao's been doing fine with the exception of his story which might have been screwed up by Shaolin Monks.

for what its worth, i liked the mk rivalry between kang and lao. i know the whole things considered non canon as are most the mka endings but i thought the strained friendship idea was really interesting. think i am in the minority there though!

the recent kung lao action figure ws cool. i'd rather he be a main hero than shujinko or- as the new bios seem to suggest- cage

It would be über cool if Shang Tsung was killed in MKA and Liu Kang revived back to normal. In MK8 both Kung Lao and Liu Kang would be and they would have a rivalry like Vegeta and Goku have in Dragon Ball Z. They first would try to be friends again but Liu Kang finds out that he took some evilness while being a zombie and doesn't know what to do.

i agree he is bein cut short, no body even cared about him before sholin monks, some people thought he was a new character all together, and most (including me honestly) said "ohhhh yeah i remember that guy from mk2. only thing he has is MKSM and the vertical slice fatality, if midway wanted him 2 be big he woudl of been in deception, i hope he is in mk8 but i dunno if he will or wont

Kung Lao gets killed by Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. All of the heroes in that game get killed, with the exception of Li Mei and Bo' Rai Cho.

Kung Lao, Kitana, Sonya, Jax, and Johnny Cage were all killed at the end of Deadly Alliance. Kung Lao died fighting Shang Tsung, Kitana died fighting Quan Chi, and the other three were mobbed by Tarkatans. Sub-Zero missed the battle because Frost tried to steal his Medallion and he was trying to find a place to bury her.

howver the truth is that Sub Zero were scared so he find a an apologize to avoid the battle.
howver he was unluck:he finds kenshi.
howver cyrax and kenshi too surived to mk da events,even touh they never fight against the sorcerers.
oh and btw kung lao dies against shao kahn in mk3,howver his storyline has been retconned to be "only" beated and wounded8raped in other words).

Yes he was. Pay attention to Deception. The heroes died and were resurrected by Onaga.

Okay people, this is who died between Deadly Alliance and Deception.

Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Kitana, and Good Raiden.

Shang Tsung, Good Raiden, and Quan Chi were all taken out by Raiden's suicide blast.

Kitana was killed by Quan Chi.

Jax, Sonya, and Johnny Cage were killed by Tarkatans.

Kung Lao was killed by Shang Tsung.

Liu Kang was killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.

There. That answers everything.

Actually Liu Kang died before the battles of the events of Deadly Alliance, not between Deadly Alliance and Deception.

And all that people that died, have been ressurected, wich in some cases was a stupid thing to do.
