Last Secret Theory: Toasty+Test your Might
I have a theory on the last secret that makes sense. Sorry if this has been posted before, but i really don't think it has.
Some of you may have heard Dan forden say TOASTY! in test your might, after you fail (or not fail?) in breaking whatever it is you have to break. I've heard it ONCE since i got mkda, so it is defenitely rare.
Now other mk games have had secrets, INVOLVING BUTTON COMBINATIONS, when dan forden SAYS TOASTY... take MK 2 for example, if he says toasty on the portal stage immediately press down+start to fight noob saibot i think it was. There are other ones like this, too.
So i'm thinking, maybe in the rare occurence of DF saying toasty in test your might, you have to press some sort of quick combination to unlock a secret. Of course this would be very hard to test, because of the rarity.
Any takes on this theory?

good thinkin, but lets try and take it a step further. first things first has anyone encountered DF during a two player TYM match? because i dont know if anyone has noticed, but if one person looses the TYM the other person can hit b and y punch the other character in the head (i have gamecube so whatever that translates too on the other systems) so i was thinking that maybe if Df appears one person should deliberatly loose and the other person punch them. just a thought

Yeah if you're doing a 2 player test your might, or even test your sight, if one player loses and one player wins, the winner can smack the other guy and he'll step backwards.
In addition to toasty, i've heard some other humorous comments from the crowd of monks when failing Test Your Might... things like Pansy and Weakass lol

this is the first original theory i've read regarding the last secret. i'm not sure if i think there's much to it, since i think they just put "toasty" in there for humor, since it's now a famous mk sound, but you never know. i probably won't spend any time testing it out, but i will be curious to see if it yields results. good job man.

i been busy as hell too, but i think im gonna see what i can find tonight. (when not watchin the most bad ass show on TV "24") as for the punch deal i stated earlier yes you can do it on gamecube on the other systems im not sure. and i have heard the monks say stuff like you suck etc. aight people keep lookin its bound to be figured out one way or the other soon
Sometimes in Arcade, when you travel from one stage to another, when I push some buttons the music goes weird.
The most important things from fight night: button combination and screens around the game. If you ask me it's there at the screens where you go from one chracter to another character.
