I'm not complaining about the Fatalities in Deception of anything, I think they're great. It just seems that the Fatalities are a bit less violent. There is PLENTY of exploding bodies and dismemberments in Deception, but I want to see more grisly stuff. Think about it, I think one of the best Fatalities in MK history has got to be Kung Lao's split down the middle in MK2, it was gory and awesome and one of the most violent ones ever. That Fatality was NEVER repeated or altered, only stuff like decapitations and explosions continue on through the series into Deception. What do you think?

One fatality i think its very nice was Hsu Hao's one, that one rocks =D
Yes I read about Sub Zero's new Fatality and I can't wait to see it. I'm just wondering why Kung Lao's verticle split has never been reproduced or re-done.

Which one is Sub Zero's new one? Is it this (spoilers)

he freezes the body, rips off the frozen head and throws it to the body

he freezes the bottom half of your body, then kicks it, shattering it to pieces. The top half of you falls down and starts crawling away, begging for mercy. Sub-Zero then stomps on you with enough force to make your head pop off!

What does this have to do ith the topic? Nothing. You're just so full of yourself and you think you're the most popular guy here, you have to tell EVERYBODY about your return, when in fact nobody really cares. You're dead wrong, son.
Anyways, I think any more gruesome fatalities would result in possibly an AO rating. I don't know how ESRB does things, but that would be my guess.

First of all, there is no such thing as a less violent fatality. They vary only in degress of brutality.
Also, I believe there is a line they will never cross.

Yep, I've always wanted to see a return of the head to groin (or the other way around) slice in some form or another, but I doubt it will happen.
Mainly due to the fact that as games keep getting more realistic, the violence of course gets more realistic with them. Seeing somebody split in half, ribs exposed and snapped, entrails all over the floor, with todays graphics would probably be enough to get the game banned (as much as it would rock to see that). Atleast over here in this pansy country. That's just IMO, of course.
Either way, the new fatalities aren't really that far behind, definately not dissapointing. Both of Sub Zero's have impressed me quite alot, probably his best fatals yet (the head rip got old, I think). Jades one is great, Scorpions neck snap is also pretty damned cool (very basic, but cool anyway), Darrius' one (if it is true) sounds like one of the best yet too. Most of them have been a huge step up from MK:DA, which I found really dissapointing for fatals. Add that to the fact that we've seen fuck all of the fatalities so far, I'm sure this game will be fine for gory eye candy.

I don't think we'll have to worry about the fatalities ever being less violent unless they suddenly have one where say, Sub-Zero, walks up to the person and just pokes them.

Exactly.
Add to that the fact that something so detailed and "realistic" would be incredibly hard for the team to do.
I don't think people understand that it isn't all a matter of being lazy or not.

I think it’s more then easy to tell who is the person dying to get attention. Your post was so unnecessary and immature.
As long as WRDLFE21 sticks to the subject, he can post anything he wants, and that’s what he did. Its so sad to see you cant understand this little things oh well. ***EDIT: And you are dead wrong, son, I do care he is back, along side a mod.
Anyway, fatalities are much better then the ones of MKDA, so, I guess its all cool.
But I agree, I dislike so many fatalities ending the same way.
