Like: Everything. He was always one of my favorites and the MK team made him perfect, Just like Ermac.
Dislike: He's no longer a nomadic warrior of justice. But i prefer him being the leader of the Black Dragon rather then that snake-in-the-grass Kano.

Like: Mmm, Alotof things :😉:. But what i like the most is that they took the best aspects from both Sonya and Kano and gave them to her. Now i love Sonya, But her story has been EXACTLY the same since MK1. And Kano is a awesome looking character... But i don't like Snakes-in-the-grass. That whole aspect of him made me snub my nose at him. Sure, It's ok once or so, But it's basically his entire character.
Dislike: She isn't as attractive in the face as any of the other girls are for some reason, I think it's the cheeks. She looks hot at an angle though, Just not straight on.
Li Mei
Like: She has truly come full circle. I hated her in MK:DA, But for some reason i can't help but like her. They diffinately changed her for the better.
Dislike: She reminds me of a female version of Rain, Story-wise.
Liu Kang
Like: Wow, I have to say i always hated this guy. But he's pretty good now! And those chackles with chains around his wrists are a nice touch.
Dislike: Zombie is his main costume... But Ghost is not his alternate like Boon said it was going to be. I REALLY want to play as Ghost Liu. A- It's a cool concept. B- Look at his Zombie pants and his Ghost pants. His zombie look has basically the same design Liu has had since MK2 (but with chains). Ghost Liu's pants are killer looking and are very fresh for his character...Oh, And his voice still annoys me, lol.
Mileena
Like: I always liked her better than Kitana. There's so much depth to her. She's just the ugly ducking (well she's anything but ugly... her grill however would freighten me) who just always wanted what her beautiful twin sister always seemed to get. Her ending actually made me feel very happy for her. Oh, And her alternate costume... Damn! I don't usually like girls to be so revealing in fighting games, It doesn't seem like the best option to me and feels unrealistic. But she just looks so damn hot in her alternate.
Dislike: The upper part of her fist costume looks great, But why is the lower part so skimpy and out of place? I would have liked it to match the top.
Noob-Smoke
Like: I've always liked these two. And i was worried about them being teamed together at first (i was worried about my options with them). But the MK team really pulled something great out of their hats. Their unique abilities really work together well as a devastating team! I also love their alternate costume(s), A Shadow creature and a Smoke creature, Really feels like some kind of horror story to me, I love it! And i love that i get a choice between Smoke's killer new look, And his cyborg look.
Dislike: Noob Saibot's first costume. He's supposed to be a freak'n shadow creature, Yet looks human. Hell, If they wanted him to look human, They should have just given him a different costume... His main is just a recoloring if his alternate and it feels lazy to me. Also as much as i love Cyber Smoke... He just doesn't feel the same without the harpoon shooting out of his chest, But that's only a little quirk to me. No big deal.
Raiden
Like: I like his new dark look and "I'm not taking shit anymore" outlook, Reminds me of Raiden from MK1.
Dislike: I'm going to miss the jolly ol' protector from MK2-MK:DA.

Like: Firstly, Everything about him. He has been my favorite since MK1 and the only time i felt like they ever did him wrong was by leaving him out of MK3, Which they corrected. His story, His special moves and his fighting styles... He just keeps getting better and better in each game, And that's a good thing! And i think he looks better doing the Spine Rip than Sub-Zero ever did. Just the aggression of that seems more his style. Sub-Zero, Umm, Freezes stuff.
Dislike: No Toasty fatality? (mk1-mk4) No Hand from Hell? (umk3-mkt)... Well, At least his fatality using his spear is really cool looking, Right?
Sindel
Like: The queen is back and she's great. Her classic moves, Banshee Scream and Star Scream are back and looking good, And she has a great new move, The Sliding-Foor Grab, Which i find myself using alot. Her fighting styles are very well rounded and her look is stunning. It kinda looks slutty, Yet has a dark-gothic feel to it that she honed very well in MK3. I prefer her alternate costume. It captures that gothic feel, But more in a prestige way. And that gold crown that he wears really adds to that dark queen kinda feel.
Dislike: Her Star Scream blast isn't as broad looking and it's purple instead of blue... Kinda stupid think to dislike, huh?
Sub-Zero
Like: This guy has always rocked. His special moves are, And always have been great. His fighting styles are keen and i love his alternate costume. His main costume has that grandmaster feel, Yes. But his alternate with the studded leather makes him look very battle weary and intimidating.
Dislike: It's tricky to get his Ice clone to work in a 3D environment, It was alot easier in MK3-MK4.

Likes - His specials, which compliment his combos very well with enough practice, pretty simple combos, fast. Tai Chi went unchanged, and suits him perfectly. His new costume is better than his scubadiving suit in DA.
Dislikes - His judo throws seem pretty pointless to me. they're weaker than the normal throws, and just as fast. They don't have any benfits... His mind warp isn't that useful. Really just good for teleporting past projectiles and closing long distances quickly, really can't dodge with it likes other teleports. He's very weak, I mean hell his 10 hit style branch combo only does 20% Also the animation in his 2nd fatality and Hara Kiri just drives me nuts.
Jade:
Likes - Incredibly powerful. Pretty fast. Awesome costumes, and good specials/combos.
Dislikes -
Her Razor Rang delay is too long, takes forever to throw the damn thing. Her Blending Shadow's move isn't very useful, unless you're fighting a cheep projectile monkey, but thats easy enough to just teleport... Her first fatality, its really queer looking show she is able to cut someone in half with basicly a metal stick. They really should have given that fatality to Kenshi or someone else with a sword.
Baraka:
Likes - His costumes, especially his alt, it looks awesome. All his special moves have returned, with an addition of the Mutant Blades, another goodie. Very powerful and nice combos.
Dislikes - His Hung Gar style, it was awesome style in DA but it's been changed so much, has virtually none of the advantages it had then, and only 2 combos (it was my favorite back in DA). His fatalities aren't to great but not horrible either.
Havik:
Likes - His look is really good, good moves/styles. lol I love the Corpse Dive. Nice, suiting fatalities, and an amusing hara kiri and again, suiting weapon. Also the concept of being able to gain life is nice, but...
Dislikes - ...His Neck Crack and Back Cracking moves take to long to complete. Someone could walk up from all the way on the other side of the map and hit you before you finish them. And it only takes a single punch to take away that little bit of life you just earned. And you know they won't waste the free shot on a single punch... I think they should either make the move finish faster, or increase the amount of life you gain from it. The star on his chest in his primary costume should be the Chaos star. Would have fit him much better.
Dairou:
Likes - He's got some really nice moves, fatalities/hara kiri, and good styles. Tomb Stone Drop is really useful. And I especially love that Autumn Dao. Man that thing could do some serious damage.
Dislikes - His looks. Well, they really aren't that bad, but his forearms are like 2 feet thick. It's just freaky. His storyline isn't the best either. I mean it's odd how an ex-Saiden Guard could turn Merc so quickly like that.

Like: Her alt costume, the fact that she doesn't look skanky, and her story of redemption are pretty cool.
Dislike: Her special moves could be a little better, and that hat...
Havik:
Like: The look is awesome, especially his alt. Both are very cool
Dislike: His moves are just plain dumb. The chaos thing is lame. Was it ever explained why his flesh is rotting? Is he dead? Dying? Diseased? No one else in chaosrealm looked like that. Worst of all. Snake and Tang Soo Do. Why make a new character and have BOTH of his styles be from previous characters??
Rayden:
Like: The new "blown up" look. The fact that he might possibly become neutral or evil in the next game. Very cool.
Dislike: Poor Rayden, the guy's got about one new move since the first MK.
Kabal:
Like: The fact that he's in the game, his hookswords, and his alt is decent. I still love doing the fly by move.
Dislike: The fact tha they didn't do all that much with him. His looks are too similar to MK3 and I'm not a big fan of where his story is going. I dug the "nomad" thing.
Kira:
Like: The red hair, the knives, and the leather all add to her look. Very cool.
Dislike: The fact that her special moves are recycled from other characters. Honest to God, Ed, if you're make a new character, give them new moves and fighting styles!
Sub-Zero
Like: His alt costume, his fatalities, and that fact that (spoiler) is actually his brother!! Awesome.
Dislike: His original shredder outfit, it never grew on me.
Sindel
Like: Her alt costume, her shriek is back
Dislike: Her new move is lame, and her fatalities kinda blow
Noob-Smoke
Like: Just about everything, what a GREAT idea!
Dislike: Human smoke looks just plain weird. I would've liked to have seen a black and gray ninja, not a see through guy with weird head gear. A small complaint though.
Nightwolf
Like: He's just fun to use. I was never a fan before but I am now.
Dislike: I thought I'd like the Chief Thunder homage, I was wrong.
Jade
Like: Her alt is one of my favorites, her moves are still fun. She feels almost like a bonus character for some reason. Her fatalities rock!
Dislike: Her originial outfit is a little too close to Mileenas.
Tanya
Like: Her original outfit
Dislike: The fact that, as usual, she has no real part in the story. If Tanya and Dairou weren't in this game, MK:D would probably be better for it. She's a lacky, a background character that I've never cared for. This game reinforces my feeling on her tenfold.
Liu Kang
Like: The chains look, the fact that he's back, etc
Dislike: His story isn't all that great (not that it ever was after MK1 or 2) and he got no new moves. His alt is the same costume he's had since MK2, MK3, MK4, and the beginning of MK:DA. They should've kept with the new and given him a more ghost like like for his alt.
