It's Li Mei or a new character. But Li Mei has been mentioned in two magazines, so it does make sense that the chick with the purple hat is her.

So far the images of either Li Mei or MIleena have been without a name, but now all the images of a woman in askimpy pink outfit, with the Sai weapon style and Liu He Ba Fa fighting styles are confirmed as being MILEENA!!!! Li Mei is not in the game so far. And I doubt very much if she will be as it looks as if Mileena has most of her moves and they're not going to have two copies of the same character in the one game.

I could care less either way, but it seems that nobody has thought of the possibility that there could be more than ONE alternate outfit per character.

Maybe Li Mei Sucks... but Li Mei is in MKDeception, but Kitana NO!

That already was confirmed in the PSM of April, I see that you speak without cause knowledge, because you do not know nor that images we spoke. This clear one that they could have more than 2 suits by fighter, but so far this not this confirmed, and all the indications aim that the unmasked one with the violet suit is Li Mei.

That looks more like Sareena than Li Mei.

Let's face it, Ed Boon himself could personally release an image with Li Mei on it complete with big flashing lights saying "THIS IS LI MEI!! LI MEI!!" and people would still think it's Mileena...

I don't even really care anymore honestly, wait till E3.

I for one still have hopes for kitana being this game. Remember, they havent revealed the secret characters yet.....

Hey "The Truth", I heard I can't handle you.

I'm on Gargh's side if anything here. Li Mei HAS NOT officially be confirmed. You haven't seen a picture labelled "Li Mei" and you've seen two of her fighting styles given out to Mileena. Why do you hang onto a little bit of weak information so much? Officially Kabal hasn't been confirmed. I saw a picture with Ermac's leg missing (a glitch), that's probably why the mask was off in one picture.

I'm not making excuses, but flaming someone because they believe Li Mei will not be in, is just as stupid as me flaming everyone here who goes. "I don't think Cyrax will be in.". Li Mei may or may not be in, but the official evidence is stacked against her, right now.

The woman wearing the purple hat could be Li Mei but as of now she has NOT be confirmed.

It could be a totally new female character.

It could be Sareena or Kari(the new chick announced).

No one knows as of now. With Mileena being in this game there is no need for Li Mei since she was just a fake Mileena character. Cause she wasn't all that great and Mileena tops her in every way so why even put her in.

LOOK AT THE PIC! there is no VAIL, or mouth cover; and we all know Mileena does not exactly have them pearly whites or a nice smile for that matter. The Woman in purple in the above picture has been spotted a few times and we can ALL agree her face/chin/mouth is NORMAL (unless of course mileena has a hell of a dentist).

at first i believed konqrr on the whole lie mei thing. but now i'm a tad skeptical about it. of course there's no proof to support either side so we'll just have to wait and see. right now i'm thinkin' that alternate is mileena. i hope li mei is in though. or konqrr will have a lot of face to save.

That's not proof. Who says when you finish the game with a character they don't get an outfit that shows their outcome? Who says that Mileena can't wear a mask, or maybe the chompers are a secret costume? There is no proof that Mileena can't have a normal face in Mortal Kombat.
