Guys, there is no point in argueing with these people. There are two pictures of Li Mei, there are two inside sources confirming her presence, the 95% accurate German magazine confirmed her presence. But really, Mileena's hair isn't even that long, and that information by itself should have been a dead give-away. But it doesn't matter, cause these guys are in denial. They either hate Li Mei to the point of refusing to acknowledge her, or they don't want to admit they're wrong.

But it's okay. They'll eventually have to face the truth. And when that happens, some will be mature enough to say "oh, I see." But to all those who handled the situation like immature assholes, no worries, because they've already set themselves up for extreme humiliation when all is said and done. Just watch and see...

Do understand the reason most people don't want Li Mei back is not because they necessarily hate her, its because they feel a more important character could easily take her place. We've yet to see ANY footage of Mavado, Sonya Blade, or even Kung Lao. While I don't care one way or another who is in the game, I would much rather have someone like Mavado who now has a storyline to finish over someone like Li Mei, whose storyline apparently ended with the Deadly Alliance.

Okey, I consider new to this forum(as I joined a week ago, or less) and I've seen like 10 threads about the damn same thing. Okey, let's face the facts:
1- Li Mei HAS NOT been confirmed.
2- People with sources in the forums have said a lot of times Li Mei will be in the game.
3- Two magazines confirmed Li Mei's pressence, even though the USA version of PSM, on the April Issue DID NOT confirm Li Mei.
4- The fact that the video shows Mileena using "Liu He Ba Fa" does not mean she will end up using that same fighting style shown in the video, if you notice many of the things that are supposed to be implemented does not appear in the video either. JUST NOT TAKE EVERYTHING YOU SEE SO FINAL AND DEFINITIVE WHEN A BIG SHOW IS CLOSE, THE COMPANY IS NOT GIVING INFO, AND THERE ARE STILL 6 MONTHS FOR THE TEAM TO FINISH THE GAME. The video could be made from OLD footage from the game.
5- There is a HIGH probability Li Mei is in the game, even though the girl with the pink hat does not seem to me to be Li Mei; the girl in pink shown in the April issue of PSM(Even though they NEVER SAY IT'S LI MEI) seems to be much like her.

However I support the idea of waiting till E3, new screens, new info, more characters, new footage, and maybe a new trailer will probably be released on the expo.

And they are entitled to feel that way. But this is no way means she doesn't deserve to be in the game. The were many that not only liked her, but felt she was one of the better MKDA characters.

I hate Baraka, but when his pic was released I didn't say that the picture of him was just an early render of MKD's Beta version and that he probably won't be in the game.

Li Mei has proven to be in the game, if someone still had doubts, then they are allowed to be MATURE about it.

I can't agree with you on that part. I would say the only "proven" characters are those we've seen in-game, which would include:

Ashrah
Baraka
Ermac
Hotaru
Kenshi
Mileena
Nightwolf
Noob Saibot
Scorpion
Sindel
Sub-Zero

Just because someone says something, doesn't necessarily make it stay that way. Hell, all of the above characters might not even be 100% standing. They can easily change, as this game will be released sometime in October, and its only April now.

I've seen more than enough to know she's in the game. But unfortunately, there will never be enough proof for those who don't want her in the game. I would also like to acknowledge that a lot of people who hate her with a vengence have handled the arguement much better, and are still doing such, so props to them. You, Wanderer, have too managed to handle this debate correctly. For that I respect you. Also, when Li Mei is blatantly out in the open, you won't look like an idiot.

Hey, the only thing I'm concerned about is the storyline. They could bring back Mokap just as long as his storyline isn't half-assed. With that being said, the only beef I have so far with Deception is Liu Kang returning (as a spirit for that matter). I'm intrigued yet afraid of what storyline his character holds.

personally, i could care less if she is in it or not. i just find it funny how many people know "teh sources" right after konqrr said it. somebody pm me these sources. i've been here for 4 years and i wouldn't say a word. and seriously, if all these people that claim to have sources actually are right, why wouldn't they just say who the sources are? not like li mei is important enough to protect when more popular characters like smoke are being announced. if and when she's announced, it won't blaze the mk world up in flames. so why not just expose the sources? my money is on there is no sources. more so people believing in konqrr.

I'm not trying to be a dounter here, but in some cases companies give out false information to heir employees to maintain a level of secrecy. Not to doubt the contacts here, but I seriously doubt whether or not their knowledge on the game is to be trusted completely, even though they are (probably) telling the truth.

If Li Mei is in the game, fine, but I don't think two pictures PROOVES anything. For one, I don't think it would be a good idea to have Mileena and Li Mei with similiar costumes. I would be trying to disinigrate the topics of "Li Mei is a Mileena ripoff!", even though she's not. I would love to see Li Mei back (as long as they do something with her story), but saying she is 100% confirmed because there is a woman in purple with no mask on is extremely premature, IMO.

I saw a picture somewhere in which Ermac's model was glitched up, so he had no leg. What if that is the case with the mask? You have to keep in mind, they may not structure a lot of Mileena's models with the jagged teeth, but just have a woman's face, then cover it up with the veil.

As for why people may not want Li Mei in? I feel it might be some fans of Mileena might feel their favourite character threatened. Some may hate her, or others like me don't deny she's in, but deny she's confirmed. I don't care if she's in or not, as long as she really has a story in this one. That's why I'm not too fond of Smoke and Kabal's confirmations (if you want to call them that). I have no objection to both being in the game, but being added before Mavado, Cyrax, Sektor and Nitara isn't very good for the build of the game's story.

So all things said and done, yes we have been lead to believe, but this could b a big misunderstanding, or a giant deception on Midway's part. If I could be stuck on an island with any two people it would be Wanderer and TemperaryUserName. And of course, Li Mei is not confirmed, just rumoured.
