I know this has been somewhat a topic of debate, but I think the jury is still out on what alignment she will be for Deception... So let's try to look at all the evidence and try to piece things together.

Reasons why she may be evil:

1. She wears armor that is somewhat similar to what the Dragon King's army wears.

2. Her ending in DA would seem to suggest that perhaps she was put into the body of an undead soldier.

3. JAX007 pointed this one out, on her alternate costume there is a skull actually put onto the front of her little bikini.

4. Her sparkler is a different color now, a dark purple which may suggest that perhaps that is a sign of a dark power now in her.

Reasons why she may be good:

1. Her alignment was good in DA and if she is not a part of the DK's army then it would mean she'd still be good.

2. Aside from clothing changes and a stylistic change to her sparkler there's nothing to imply that she's evil.

3. Her armor is actually more like Hotaru's armor which may suggest that she is a part of The Order now like he is. The Order's goal is to maintain order in Outworld so that would seem like a more "positive oriented" goal.

4. If her soul was put into the body of an undead soldier then why does she still look the same? Putting the souls of other warriors into the DK's army never changed their looks so why would it be different for Li Mei?

I'm still undecided about her alignment... I want her to be good, I like good girls after all but the MK team has presented her so ambiguously that it's difficult to tell... What do you think?

Her first costume is the dragonking's outfit and the second one is bikini so it means that the dk was in control of her but after the deception she got back good and wasn't under the dk's control. If you check raiden first costume from da it's looks good without any damage but after training the earth warriors his alt was ripped up.

I think Li Mei is evil. In MK:DA she was working for the Deadly Alliance, so I dont se why her allignment was good. I also think since her primary costume is most likely to be Dragon King armour, that she was killed at end of MK:DA and is now workin for Dragon king, so is evil.

I think she's evil in this game for sure. I mean both of her costumes have that skull face figure and usually skulls reprensents evilness.

Her ending probably happened. The DK could have used some magic on her so that she could keep her external beauty because he probably wanted to fuck her.

Nearly all the girls' in-game faces in DA were hideous if they weren't wearing a mask. Li Mei is actually supposed to be one of the more beautiful MK girls as implied by some of the stuff in the krypt such as the "Fashion Model Li Mei" thing.

But that's kind of an interesting point JAX007, perhaps the DK had the power to let her keep her looks so she could become his mistress or something.

Well I agree that all of the girls weren't very attractive in MK:DA but she isnt attractive in this one either, and the only reason Li Mei was a model is cause of her big tits and thighs. Not her face.
