i thought Li Mei's weapon was the Melon also . but someone said Havik has it now. but a sword for Li Mei sound ok (even though i was kind of looking forward seeing her with the Melon)

I sware I saw a picture of her with a sword, fighting Tanya on the crumbling tower stage. I just don't know where which sucks.

Yeah, she did have a thin long sword in one of the most recent vids. I don't remember wich but she was fighting against Tanya in the desert stage.
We never saw her with Melon hammers, If it has spikes on it, it's a mace.

Why does she need a melon? she already has two!!! ok that was bad, im sorry. the only time ive seen her with the melon, were the 21 e3 videos, but that was a Long time ago, so who knows

its also known as a Mace, but Midway decided to call it Melon for some reason. (its a stick with a ball on the end of it with spikes all over)

Probably not a Katana because that is Kenshi's weapon. I think it is a Long Sword.

A Melon hammer doesn't have spikes on it. The weapon Li Mei had at E3 2004, was a mace (Morning Star) wich Havik now has. We never saw her with a melon. Li Mei and Scorpion's weapons were misslabeled on the select sreen at E3.

I'm making a drawing, and I really need to know what is the DEFINITIVE weapon of Li Mei. If it isnt confirmed, dont bother and just tell me it isnt confirmed yet. Thanks.

confusing no ? anyway, for those who have played the Dynasty Warrior series, a melon is something like the weapon that Diao Chan uses. Although they didn't call it Melon in Dynasty Warriors, i very much think is that weapon that Diao Chan uses.

Ok, it's in official movie 2 at gamespot.
Edit: after seing the movie again, it looks like it's Scorpion's sword. I have no idea what weapon she'll end up with.

anyway back on topic, I saw Li Mei with a Fan, a sword, and melons however I think the last one that we saw on the new videos is her final weapon, however I don't remember which one it was.

Limei? This is only in the E32004, because few names aren't correctly write.

People said she used a Melon/s? as her weapon because on the old select screen, her listed weapon was Melon or Melons. I forget if it was one or two.
So she might have the new sword or the original listed melon. No one knows for sure.
