well temporary user name im gald you made this thread, but I really disagree with two people

Baraka.
He is strongly rumored to return according to mk revolutions (check the rumor section) and if people are skeptical about that, there is even a done picture of him with a cool mask and big white eyeballs. Now Im not saying he will be in, but it is strongly suggested.

The last but not least is smoke. There is no word of him, and we dont know what is going on in this category. I highly seggest ed boon put him in, many old mk players will buy the game and many current fans will enjoy his presence.

I agree with you on the most part , but I think Nitara may not come back since she only wanted to go back home. I dont think Khan will come back.

I think Shao Kahn and Liu Kang SHOULD come back for revenge on the deadly alliance, although it is likely they might not.......

True, but the Vampire race is still present, and if things get really bad in MK6, then they too might have to take a stance for their own survival. The cool thing about vampires is that they're wild cards, and could be allied with either side. Whatever benefits them will determine their alliance.

As for Kahn, Marcel said he wasn't dead according to the makers, and I'm pretty sure he's right. And with the fans demanding him back, I think there's a good chance we'll see a playable, weakened Emperor on the select screen for mk6.

But hey, Boon has surprised us before. Who knows what crazy shit he's going to pull for the next game.

I totally agree with your list, except for Blaze. He was a hidden character without own/original moves and styles. I don't know if his ending is Cannon or not but I don' know why but I don't see him returning. He could be back tho', but I just don't see it comming. Although, it would be cool to see him back.

Yes, in Konquest they tell us Mavado "defeated" Kabal and got his weapons. But they never say Kabal was “killed” or that he is “dead”.

So, only time will tell, but for all we know, Kabal could be alive.

Yes, “rumored” and apparent “demise”, its clear it doesn’t way he was KILLED or that he is officially DEAD.

Mavado swore to eliminate him and he took his swords as trophies. Mavado has no reason to keep Kabal alive. The only reason they even used the word rumored is to suggest that this is "a crime syndicate". Kabal is fucking dead, Mavado killed him, stop gripping your silly factless desires.

I’m not a Kabal fan who is dying to see him back, I would like him in Mk6 but I wouldn’t even care if he didn’t appear, so don’t go saying “stop gripping your silly factless desires” when you know nothing.

Second, how many times had Kano been said to be “defeated” or “killed” by Sonya and thought to finally be dead like in Mk3 and Mk4? And in fact he was still alive!
And we also have Goro for example, wasn’t he supposed to be dead? Johnny Cage? And others.

So, Kabal could very well be alive, just like he could be dead. There hasn’t been any official confirmation on this so you can’t assure he is dead or alive.

As for what you said about Mavado, what if Kabal managed to escape? Just like you, I’m making a speculation.

Calm down some, man. It's not worth stressing over, believe me.

Anyway, read closer. It doesn't say Kenshi freed the spirits Ermac was made of. It means he freed Ermac from Kahn's hold. Remember Kahn didn't shape Ermac. He's an enigma, and no one really knows how he was forged. Also note that Ermac taught Kenshi telekensis after he was freed. So at least for some time, we know for certain Ermac was still intact as a ninja. Never does it say he dispersed afterwards.

Seriously, dude, it's not a good idea to say "END OF STORY" for a character whose fate hasn't been explained in specific detail, like Ermacor for a character whose fate is surrounded by rumor, like Kabal. Remember, Kabal was left for dead by Kahn's extermination squads, and he may have been presumed dead by Mavado.
